AA Headlamp Beam Converters, Deflectors

Purchased for use when needing to drive on the opposite side of the road in Europe.They are very easy to apply and also easy to remove when no longer needed. Once removed, they do not generally leave any residue, although there is a possibility of slight residue if they are left on for a long period of time. As they are designed for one-time use, they do need to be discarded after removal rather than reused.The main challenge is actually understanding the instructions. The leaflet lists a large number of vehicles, which can be quite confusing at first glance. It’s important to carefully find your exact make and model, then match it to the correct number and diagram rather than trying to interpret the whole sheet at once.Once fitted correctly, they seem to do the job as expected without any issues, and are a useful, inexpensive solution for temporary legal compliance when driving abroad.

Stuck down well.Quite bewildering instructions on the first glance but after searching for the vehicle we found the plan on how to place the lenses.There was still some question over the exact location. Would have preferred exact dimensions from the top and side of the light but appreciate this is a tough call considering how many vehicles are out there.They stuck on perfectly fine, and more importantly for me, they could be removed perfectly fine too with no damage or left over residue on the plastic lenses.Good price considering the quality.

I was really pleased with these. Once I figured out what type of headlights I had, the instructions were really clear.After more than 2 weeks in mainland Europe, I’ve just peeled them off - they’ve stayed stuck really well.Will buy again!

Stick well, come off quite easily when required. Instructions try to cover all the normal headlight options.

A necessary purchase, and an industry I disrespect due to the fact that these are unusable after one use (the adhesive is designed to tear off on removal forcing another purchase next European visit). What a racket!!!When you consider that they are simply 2 bits of floppy painted polythene, the price is just never realistic, although it has to be said that these were the cheapest I could find for this product anywhere (at the time I purchased it).I have now found that the remaining adhesive can be removed with white spirit & they can then be readhered safely with double sided sellotape! The manufacturers advise against this, but then they would wouldn't they! I can confirm that they DO still work exactly the same, and WILL stay perfectly affixed until next removal (why wouldn't they)???If (like me) you NEVER travel in Europe at night and are only fixing them to be legal in the eyes of the European authorities, I suggest you try the same... The price you pay really is MORE than enough to justify a once only purchase (not one that has to be repeated every time you leave the UK).Recommended, but only on the basis of this particular seller being the cheapest at the time of my purchase...Update: Price down to a reasonable (less than) three pounds Jan 2012, which I have no doubt is seasonal (lets see what they make in late July 2012)...!!! On the basis of this price, I have just bought another 2 pairs (as I have found that even retaping useds ones causes the metallic painted "reflector" strips to rub off (definitely intentional by the producers I think)!With the price so low (as I write this), we now know just how much profit these things make at (say) the more usual eight pounds a pair!!!!Im sorry to be so extreme in this, but these things really are such a DISGUSTING rip-off....

Good quality and fully compliant for driving in the EUEasy to fit with placement instructions for hundreds of vehicles.Stick them on at the ferry port .Easy to remove after use.

I installed these on my Mercedes 190D before a trip away to Europe recently. I found that they did work properly and I hadn't blinded any of the locals because I wasn't flashed once at night! The instructions can be a bit confusing if you car isn't currently listed on the paper - you can find a whole list online. If not, then you need to properly clean your headlights, I'd recommend using isopropyl alcohol so the adhesive has a good chance of sticking. Then check the lines on your headlight patterns if using old H4 style like the 190, and line them up to the suggested diagram. You should end up with the beam reflectors on the left hand side of the low beams if anything like the old Benz. When removing I found they leave a very sticky residue, but nothing some alcohol or WD40 will not remove!
