Fantastic Drinking Aid
This wonderful drinking bottle hangs on my wheelchair throughout the day and hangs over the end of my bed throughout the night. It is so easy to use - it took me about 3 minutes to get the hang of it. It does not drip and has no taste. It's so wonderful not to have to ask people to get me a drink. To have the independence to just be able to have a drink of water when you want could not be fully understood by an able-bodied person, but it's fantastic! I cannot recommend this highly enough. It would be particularly useful for anyone with limited dexterity, who is unable to turn on a tap or open a bottle of water.

Great idea,
Takes time for some to get used to the idea of pressing the belly end, but works greatAnd no wet cloths or bed

Perfect for caesarean recovery.
This was excellent while I was in hospital after a caesarean, no heavy jugs to lift awkwardly while holding the newborn, clipped onto the UK hospital bed easily. The midwives all complimented it! The measure down the side helps you keep track of how much fluid you've taken in, again helpful for the midwives. Then it can be used to keep you hydrated through the night while feeding your newborn. Really great value! It did make water taste a bit plastic-y, so I let it all soak in some soda/bicarbonate and used a weak squash in it.

Post surgery saviour
I bought this on recommendation for spinal surgery. It literally saved the day as it was so hard to sit up even a little bit at first, so I couldn’t use the hospital beakers to drink from. Plus it held a lot more so I could stay hydrated without having to constantly buzz for help from the staff.Only thing to note is make sure your lid is on really tight if hanging off a bed etc. or it will drop off and flood the place!, and I’d order extra mouthpieces in advance as I lost mine on the last day I really needed it as it came off quite easily really which was a bit disappointing.

Life changing
I am fully bed bound, which those of you with chronic illnesses and pain will tell you sucks. Even worse that the tables I have done fully go over my bed and even if they did, I would still have to lean to grab a drink from my usual water bottle but I could have a leg spasm and hurt myself on the table. Then I saw this bottle and as soon as it came it was washed out and filled and it's like my world went black and white to 4k colour. No longer do I have to hold on to bed bars and frames to lean to grab my bottle or if I'm in pain, not lean and be dehydrated. I don't have to worry about me knocking it off my table as it clips to my headboard. I don't have to fight my hand spasms to hold a bottle and flip a lid to get a drink, which to most would seem easy but to my hands even 100ml can be like 10kg. I barely need to move to get a drink, even when laid down or on my opposite side to my bottle. This is something that's just changed my life, it may be just a water bottle but to me it's 15% less pain, less hassle and 100% more hydration, less bladder and kidney pain and a percentage of my old life back where I had more independence. Yes it will leak as it's not 100% tight because of fitting the straw threw the top but it will only do so if you tipping it upside down or laying it down on its side which you don't need to do. A water bladder bag won't leak if you need to lay it down ect but for me with cats, it's not practical, the hydrant bottle is.

Clever Product
What a fabulous idea this hydrant bottle is! This has made life so much easier. The bottle fits on the back of the bed so there is water available whenever needed. Because of this, I have more independence. (I am bed-bound).The end can be clipped onto the edge of the pillow so the person is not laying on the valve which lets water out. This is such a clever invention and is very highly recommended. The only downside after using this product for a couple of months is that the valve loses its elasticity and begins to leak water like a hosepipe. But then it has been used daily for all this amount of time so the positives outweigh this little fault. The independence it has given me is invaluable and the replacement 'straws' are cheap enough to replace every couple of months. I would recommend having a spare tube with valve in the cupboard in case the valve begins to leak. This product can literally be a lifesaver!
