Cant go wrong with a Kilner Jar
Good air tight Jar. I store fresh baked goodies in these. They have been in there for up to 2 weeks and it does the job keeping it fresh. The lid closed properly which some other reviews said it doesn't. You just need to push the lid down more firmly compare to other jars to keep it air tight.A good size jar for baked cookies, cake bites and scones. You can also use this to store flour, sugar, nuts, dried fruit etc etc.Glass seems to be good quality its thick and strong.Pros: Good size, air tight, thick glass, suitable for dishwasher.Cons: None so farThey also come in different sizes the 1L one is also the same good quality.Definitely would recommend

Pretty good at a price
Actually I would hate to mislead would be purchasers. This is a nice glass jar and much better than similar ones that I bought at Tesco yesterday. I purchased this to hold Nespresso coffee capsules in and it does the jo really well, with a nice comforting tight seal; so it would keep biscuits fresh (how cookies has crept into our vocabulary, a bit like soccer I suppose). It is relatively spacious as you would expect from a two litre jar, but it is quite expensive for what you get. As previously stated, I purchased similar from Tesco for £1.60 yesterday and as a storage jar, albeit with a plastic screw top, they do the job for me just as well.In summary then, a nice glass jar at a price.

Look nice but doesn't do the job properly
Ive bought this product hoping to keep my cookies fresh. Unfortunately the lid doesn't seal properly, therefore I have to keep cookies inside the jar in a bag for them to stay fresh. Good size and look nice but I wouldn't recommend it for anyone.

awesome cookie/ sweet/ treat jar
Best cookie jar I've ever purchased!! Excellent size! Gorgeous to look at. I am thrilled with it, plus the kids love it too. Its alot more exciting to see their treats in a jar than in a wrapper in the cupboard. Highly recommend. What are you waiting for?? Grab one today! I will be back for a few more yet!

Poor quality with loose seal
The jars are pretty solid. But compared to other Kilner products, the seal is very disappointing.I ordered 2 of these jars but both arrived with unformed seals. Leaving the jar constantly exposed to the air.

Lid not a good fit
The lid does not work well, you have to "screw" it in every time if you want it to be anything like sealed. I would recommend Clip-top jars.The large opening is good for fitting scones and suchlike.

Keeps food fresh
This is great - as long as you give the top a little push and twist when you put in on, it seals and keeps biscuits fresh for months.
