The best features for a very persuading price.
I'll keep this review as short as I can.If you want a monitor that has a 144hz refresh rate with freesync at 1080p resolution this and the smaller variant are the only ones out there. The monitor I warn you is heavy and could possibly cause some damage to your desk. For a TN panel the viewing angles are better than most. When looking straight at it the image is very clear and crisp. The connectivity of the monitor is great with a VGA,DVI,HDMI and display port offering a large amount of options. It also includes two usb ports (a cable is provided which needs to be connected from your computer to the monitor to work) and a 3.5mm jack which is quite handy as you can use the 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable provided to attach to other speakers, a soundbar or even your playstation/xbox if you have connected them using the VGA or DVI port, as they do not carry sound signals, to the monitors speakers so that you can hear the sound being transmitted..Freesync was very easy to set up as AMD recognised it and the only input needed was to click on ok. You will need to connect it with either a hdmi or display port cable which are supplied in the box (not gold plated mind you). When gaming I see noticebly less screen tearing even on games that I cannot get 144fps as easily. Many of my friends are astonished by it.Keep in mind that if you plan to use freesync with this monitor you can adjust it to be 60hz if you choose to. I kept mine at 144hz as my gpu is an msi r9 390x and can handle most games I play on high-medium settings to achieve 144fps.The speakers are substantial at best. Now that I have gotten used to it I find it very difficult when playing games using other people monitors while visiting them, it gives me eye strain and sometimes a headache. From now on I will forever be using monitors with freesync or any other technology that is the same. For me 144hz is still too high and can only really see a difference between 60hz to 120hz however very few monitors have a 120hz refresh rate so I was left with the choice of this monitor. All in all the monitor is great and ticks all of the boxes for me and maybe for other people as well and at a reasonable price which makes this monitor my companion of choice for the next few years.

Just got this to go next to an Apple Thunderbolt display. The mac allows 144Hz on this display, so does Windows 10 without drivers. For the price it was a great buy as frame rate at 144Hz is simply much smoother, easier on your wrist due to better mouse accuracy and less eye strain / headache due to less flickering. I am at this monitor for 12 to 16 hours a day. Colour vibrancy will not match a pro panel but then you would spend 2 - 4 times as much as this for a professional display. Speakers are rubbish, tinny as expected but at least you have them in an emergency. USB hub was nice addition. Height adjustment is brilliant. Text is easy to read (e.g. XCode / Visual Studio). No dead pixels on my unit (phew). Would give 4 and a half stars if I could, loses half a star for fiddly calibration that has you tweaking for a good while.

Aoc 27inch 144hz monitor.
This screen really has changed gaming for me at 144hz. I used game on 43inch 4k tv but as i like to play competitive online. With game's like BF1 and RB6 siege,. The amount of lag and screen to take in was crazy. So i decided to get lowest priced benq screen with out 144hz. That was terrible low res for 1080p screen.Ugly on screen osd. etc.I had to send it back. Upgraded to this screen. For a few squid more. £229 . I got blown away the first time i turned on this screen. 1080p via display port looks crisp and clear. No back light bleed . Very fast response. No colure bleed. Really nice on screen osd. Even speckers sound good. The stand is solid out the box. No wobbling once on desk. 2 x usb ports. 1x hdmi 1x display port. One word of advice. If plan to play at 144hz. Make sure you use display port connection.Right click on desk top.display settings. Change 60hz to 144hz.click ok. done. Make sure gpu is decent. Gtx 1060 and Rx 480 above.Open onscreen osd and turn overdrive off. This can cause picture bleed. This is some sort of free sync style. If you have amd card .This screen support's free sync. The refresh rate is fast. My online gaming has improved dramatically. Some people have complained about about a blank screen or no signal some times when they swich off and on the screen. While the pc is still on ?Simply tap the home button on the keyboard and pc screen will reappear. This will normally happen when using a diaplay port as handshake is different compared to hdmi signal. Overall If you plan to game at 144hz and don't really care about ultra wide and 4k. This is best bang for your buck. Highly recommended. Thanks to amazon.

It's a great monitor for its price
Right so, first off. It's a great monitor for its price. Although it's 1080p for a 27 inch screen all I care about is the colour and hertz, which is fantastic. There is a huge but tho...at least three times a week when I turn my computer on I have a "no signal" displayed on the screen. So because I've especially built a hidden compartment with all the cables I have to open it up and unplug the monitor power cable and plug it back in every time... it infuriates me. This is why the 3 stars is necessary. So conclusion is. If you want to have the risk of having to do what I do 3-4 times a week go ahead. I do still think it's a fantastic monitor for the price tho.

Another one bites the dust.
The media could not be loaded. Utterly useless monitor. I have worked my way through 4 of these monitors now, each have needed to be returned and replaced by AOC. It's a really great monitor but it only lasts 6 months before you run into problems. 3 monitors have simply stopped working completely - no display. The most recent return started displaying artifacts and has been sent for a replacement... AOC customer service is fantastic but having to deal with them every 6 months is ridiculous. This is the most unreliable product I have ever had the displeasure of using. If it works - it's great,144hz is amazing, but the fact they breakdown so regularly is ridiculous.
