Good
This is great if you like cooking teriyaki. I don’t drive, so being able to order this to the house is very helpful. Good flavour and quality and much cheaper than buying the tiny ones at the supermarket!

Cheap but high quality Hon-mirin
Hon-mirin which is relatively cheaper than other available choices in the market.Brewed using Japanese and Thai rice, made in Japan, which satisfies me as there are many made in China poor quality products. As an Asian who cook a lot, I think it does its job in many Japanese cuisines well.

Authentic Japanese cooking
Mirin is an essential condiment used in traditional Japanese recipes. This bottle represents great value for the volume of product, and when used in conjunction with other Japanese condiments such as cooking sake and soy, helps to make home-cooked Japanese meals taste authentic

Mirin for everyday job
For the price I paid for 1 litre, this is a good everyday mirin for use in dishes. There are much better and worse mirins out there. But this is ok for everyday fare.

Good quality Mirin
This is supposed to be one of the better quality Mirin's, and it should be at £22.99. I must also add that is is a litre which is good, so hopefully will last a while.I have not cooked with it as I have only recieved it today, but will be following a chinese recipe with it tommorrow. I have tasted a little of it with the teaspoon and it does taste and smell nice. Not the fake sugary sickly sweet taste like other Mirins. I will update once I cook with it.Thanks

Great for many Dishes
I use this in many different dishes and it's great. I will point out there are a lot of confused reviews on here saying the bottles are out of date, the Japanese calendar is in the reverse of the UK one so the ones I have seen pictured have been well in date :)

Good quality mirin
This is a proper mirin, great addition to a lot of recipes, chankonabe, chukadon, simmered kombu etc

5 months out of date
Just got this item and the expiry date is 23 02 2026 and because it's a food item I cannot return it, so had to get onto the chat facility and what a pain trying to sort this.
