**Q: Is there an extender pole for it? Because this thing is very short! 😬**
A: I didn’t get one, but the length is fine for me. I would contact the manufacturer.

**Q: My bolts won’t tighten**
A: You may have gotten them off center when you put them on.  It might be easirer to buy new bolts at the hardware store if the first ones stripped.   Try working them in without the device having pressure against them to see if they work. This is a good tool but takes a lot of energy to swing for 20 or 30 minutes.  Good luck

**Q: We live in the desert wouls like to use for removing weeds in the dirt is this product good**
A: I don't really know about the desert, but I whacked down a one and a half inch bush with it....very thick stalk...and it worked very well on thick weeds in our yard. So my guess would be yes. It's a very handy little tool, if you don't mind putting it together yourself. Inexpensive and Very Sharp. Good luck.

**Q: Does this allow for getting close to fence lines and house borders of grass?**
A: Yes, with careful use you can get pretty close -- but its main use is for unobstructed areas.

**It is pre sharpened and painted after!** That means you can use it out of the box without exposing the metal and risking rust! **most you need to sharpen yourself** before you can handle any real job It’s a bit heavier than the wooden handled but not by much. The handle joint has some wiggle but is strong. I would have preferred a full length handle or a second bolt for stability but I view that as just a preference. It can easily handle stalky weeds more than a 1/2 inch thick to over an inch thick with some gusto. It will not cut saplings or short grass, but it’s not meant to. Assembly would be very annoying with the wrench provided but at least it’s there and a socket set makes assembly easy.
