Pleasantly surprised, I wasn't expecting it to work this well. I have mostly tile floors so it just right for me. The suction is good, maneuvers well and its much quieter on the floors than the original. Also works on low nap carpets as well. The little gadget that holds the vacuum trigger is also a plus, works well, and for the price you can't beat it I'm happy I gave it a try.

This motorhead is horrible. It drains battery fast. With original head I could vacuum entire house easily with leftover charge in battery. I have a 6 mah battery and it drains it fast. Can’t get half way done with this motorhead even on low power. PLUS this motorhead spins slower and does not suck things up well at all! I keep my filters and DC8 clean and in good operating condition. DO NOT BUY THIS.

Works better than the one that came with my D7. Light is helpful too.

For the price this is just a OK vacuum head. The only reason I’m keeping is for the light. I did not realize how heavily I relied on a light while running the vacuum under furniture!

The lights are good to have. Suction isn't as good as the OEM brush but works fine on tile. Is slightly better at not throwing cat litter but still doesn't catch it all and have you go over areas multiple times. Does not work on low pile rugs with any kind of backing or rubberized content, only basic fabric rugs that are large enough to hold down the edges with its own weight. Grabs near the edge as bad as the original. Will probably keep it for the lights as those make it easier to see fur in darker corners but that's about it. Though my dry mop after vacuuming the same space still picked up a lot of pet hair this head didn't pick up. The original does better. For the price it'sfine as a backup but can't replace the original unless you're never vacuuming any carpet or rug. Doesn't work on upholstery.

Works amazing on tile and wood floors as well as low carpet. It has great suction power. The light on the front is sort of like a UV to help you see dust and dirt and low lit areas.

Do not use on harwood floors.It would scratched them badly.After only one use my floors are ruined.I wish I had never used it.

This extension had a lot of potential but after three months the motor and the led won’t operate or turn on. Other motorized extensions still work so I know it’s not the vacuum. Too bad!
