Arrived on time and you get loads in the pack, enough for all over the house. They smell and look nice. Only used them for about a week but my housemates seem to think there has been a difference in the number of moths. We have also been using Moth killer spray on the furniture to kill previous ones so I'd recommend that as well/first.

These are proper cedar wood blocks, not reconstituted from shavings, for hanging in wardrobes, putting in drawers or stowing away with stored linen. These have been nicely machined. The pieces are absorbent, and smell fragrant when new.They're so much better than fragrance sachets and are very good quality.I don't bother rubbing these with sandpaper to revive the fragrance in the wood.I use Virginian Cedarwood (juniperus virginiana) Essential Oil - Quinessence on Amazon sell a lovely one which really infuses the wood with a fresh pencil shavings fragrance which refreshes the blocks and lasts ages. Just a couple of drops will soak quickly into the wood.But you don't have to use cedar EO in these blocks to revive the moth/insect repellent action. Any good Lavender, or Lemongrass/Citronella EO will do the trick and refresh the drawers or wardrobes at the same time.This set is presented in a gift quality box and comprises 4 hanging blocks with swivelling hooks (each block is 5" long x 1.5" wide, about a third of an inch thick; the hanging hook takes the overall length to 8"). There are six 'doughnuts' (2"diameter) to hang through a coathanger hook, eight flat rectangular blocks (3" x 1.5" x 0.3"), six oval 'eggs' (1.5" x 1") and six cubes (0.75" sq,). A great assortment and they'll last a lifetime.

good selection of blocks but not much good without buying extra oil as these seem to be old stock that's been sitting in a cupboard for years and most of the scent has gone. So you need extra oil to have any chance of getting rid of moths and then you need to use loads of the oil.

Every year I struggled with moths and was at my wits regularly finding holes in my clothes, so in desperation I tried these. I didn't think they would work but scattered them around the bedroom, in drawers, boxes, the wardrobe ect and oh my god no more moths! They are different shapes and sizes some with hooks and some with holes in which enables you to put them wherever they are needed. They have a slight woody smell put it isn't strong and is much better than the usual moth balls smell, in fact I find it quite pleasant. Yippee no more moths!!

Mrs. Starling ordered these and they arrived swiftly. The aroma to me is delightful, the shapes give an edge of novelty to what might have been a fairly run of the mill mothball product.I have retained a star as I am not yet sure that they will work - the scent is so lovely I cannot quite believe that moths will not love it too!

Update: A couple of months have passed now, and I don't see any moths.Have had these for a few weeks, and I haven't seen any moths for some time, but it's hard to say if these wood blocks should take the credit for that, since I've used some other repellents. In any case, they're nicely scented and they can't hurt. Wish it came with more hanging blocks. I hang the rest of them from strap hooks or slot them through trouser clips.

The shapes are a useful variety to fit on hangers and in drawers. The scent is pleasant although very woody. I love cashmere so I hope these keep pesky moths away. I bought them last year and so far so good, I decided to get some more and put them in every clothes cupboard.

Da molti anni ormai utilizzo le palline di legno di cedro come antitarme, per evitare prodotti chimici negli armadi e dunque nell'ambiente dove si dorme o si soggiorna; le metto nei cassetti dei maglioni o dove tengo i cappotti e altri indumenti di lana, e devo dire che in base alla mia esperienza funziona molto bene, finora non ho mai visto una tarma. Le palline che usavo, trovate nella grande distribuzione, erano però piuttosto costose e molto piccole.Ho acquistato dunque questo set di 30 pezzi e devo dire che mi ha piacevolmente sorpresa: il prezzo è ottimo e i pezzi di legno sono molto grandi, comodissime poi le barrette con il gancio da appendere tra gli abiti. La scatola di cartone contiene il set confezionato in una busta di cellophane, già appena aperta la scatola si sente il buon aroma di legno di cedro. Ovviamente con il passare del tempo diventa meno evidente e al nostro naso quasi non si avverte più, ma basta che lo sentano le tarme! Piccolo suggerimento: dopo alcuni mesi, se si vuole rinfrescare l'aroma, basta dare un colpettino con la carta vetrata finissima, e il profumo ritorna. Consegna puntualissima. Per me sono promosse a pieni voti e consigliate.

Wir sind mit dem Produkt sehr zufrieden. Davor waren mehrere T-Shirts von mir von Motten zerfressen, und einen Cashmere Rock musste ich wegschmeißen. Ich habe immer zusätzlich Mottenklebefallen aufgestellt. Nach Anwendung der Zedernholzteile ging keine einzige Motte mehr in die Falle, obwohl diese vorher immer voll war! Meiner Meinung nach bedeutet dies, das diese gewirkt hat, und wir jetzt keine Motten mehr haben. Darum vergebe ich 5 Sterne, und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist auch OK!

Prix raisonnable vu la quantité de bois de cèdre reçu. Celui-ci est odorant comme il se doit et peut être réparti un peu partout dans les armoires, les tiroirs... pour chasser les mites. J'ai acheté de l'huile essentielle de cèdre pour en imprégner le bois lorsque celui-ci aura perdu son odeur, mais je suppose que les personnes qui n'aiment pas l'odeur du cèdre pourront mettre de l'huile essentielle de lavande par exemple.

El producto es tal y como se describe. Pero no huele exactamente a cedro, más alcanforado. Por lo demás tanto el número de piezas como la forma y variedad de las mismas está muy bien. Va genial para usar en las diferentes ubicaciones

Das Produkt ist verlockend, da man verschiedene Formen von Zedernholz bekommen kann und diese am Anfang sehr gut duften.Bei Lieferung waren zwar die Hölzer mit einem Öl überzogen, dieses konnte ich ohne Weiters abwaschen. Zwar nervig aber man kann drüber wecksehen.Leider verblast der Durft sehr schnell. Nach 2 Monaten richt man gar nichts mehr. Die Lösung, wenn auch nur temporär ist, dass man die verschiedenen Teile mit einem Schleifpapier ein bisschen abschleift. Zwar bekomme ich leider nicht mehr den intinsiven Duft wie ganz am Anfang zurück, aber desto trotz einen Durft. (-1 Punkt)
