It does remove paint, it’s very good
It works really well and cleaned all the paint off some slabs

It's a slow process
I would use again but it does take time. Only dissolves one layer at a time. Put some cling film on to speed it up

Only paint stripper I find that works
I’m really impressed by how effective it is. This product works incredibly fast at removing multiple layers of paint and varnish, even on tough, old surfaces. I applied it generously, covered the area with cling film, and let it sit for a while as recommended—this really helped the stripper penetrate and lift the paint with minimal effort. After scraping, the surface was practically clean with very little sanding needed. While it’s a bit messy and strong-smelling, the results speak for themselves. If you have a big stripping job, this is definitely a reliable and powerful solution that saves a lot of time and elbow grease.

Patchy I’m afraid for me.
I ordered this for my pine garage rear door and was not impressed when I subsequently read a lot of the feedback. I’m afraid it only took the top coat of paint off and made no real impression on the 3 previous ones despite 2 further applications. So, in short, it has some value for me but nothing approaching a complete job.

Water based stripper
I was using the traditional flammable paint stripper and ran out. Saw this and decided to try it and from the reviews appeared ok. However it is a water based white coloured stripper, apply with a brush and leave for an hour until the product reacts. This didn’t happen at all in places. It then advises to use a shave-hook to scrape off with. Then finally rub down with a scrubbing brush -DO NOT USE WIRE WOOL, which I was using with the traditional stripper. Wash down with detergent and water. The table looks nearly the same, the best place the varnish/stain came off was when I used wire wool. It was hard work too to remove. it was rubbish compared to traditional paint stripper which I am now going to buy again to complete the job.

Did the job for me
Have put off stripping a 90 year old solid oak front door for the past 30 years. Finally got around to it. Used a heat gun first on about ten layers of paint but it still left a lot so bought this stripper. Did as it says on the tin and applied a thick coat as recommended in the instructions and left it for an hour. Within fifteen minutes I could see it was working so left it for an hour and applied a second coat.Again I left it for about half an hour and I was greatly impressed that the paint had gone to a paste that I could scrape off before it dried.I then used detergent and water on it and it had worked a treat, ready to be sanded. The smell was ok and all in all I found it good value and good quality.

Not bad, but not as good as pre-Green Planet strippers
Works well on most paints but will not touch the spray coating on the old Triang scooter!Bring back the days of paijnt stripper that actually works! This going Green rubbish really is such a con.

Really good!
Easy to apply, is like a very thick gel. Paint and varnish came of the wood very easily after applying 1 coat. Waiting 1 hour. Applying another coat as per instructions.
