wow. no smudging or bleed through!
I LOVE these pens. I am hard to impress when it comes to stationary, especially pens. But I brought these as an add on to a bigger order just to get the free postage. It turns out they are well worth the purchase and I will definitely be buying more. The triangular shape of the pen barrel sounds like it will be uncomfortable to hold but is actually really comfortable and relaxes your hand around the pen. The fine tips of these pens are only 0.3mm meaning they are suitable for writing very fine lines and in very small places, the colours are bright and intense making them perfect for colouring or drawing as well as journals or studying and pretty much anything else! I use them for my journal and memos and on a wide variety of paper types and as of yet I have not experienced any bleed through or smudging so they are very close to perfect. If they were a touch less scratchy when writing cursive quickly, i would say they were perfect. I can not recommend them highly enough.

Perfect handwriting
I bought a pack of multicoloured Staedtler triplus fineliner pens for a children's art activity, and when I discovered how wonderful they were to draw/write with, I took the black pen into work and used it until it ran out. I now ensure that the stationary cupboard at work stocks these pens and I ordered a couple of boxes from Amazon for personal use at home. This is the best pen I have ever used - a lot of my work records have to be handwritten, and these pens make my writing look beautifully neat and clear. Although the pen is very narrow, it is very comfortable and light, and when I (frequently) forget to replace the pen lid, the pen never dries out. This pen does run out more quickly than some of my previous (ballpoint) pens as the nib gets gradually smaller and you reach the point where you can't write with it. However, each pen still lasts me ages, and at around 57p a pen (at the current price of £5.65 for 10 pens), I don't mind replacing them every couple of months. This is essentially a very fine felt tip pen so be careful if writing on shiny surfaces such as a birthday card (the ink can take ages to dry) or on very thin paper (which can sometimes absorb too much ink). The pen is absolutely fine on normal quality paper though.Apart from when I use a ballpoint to sign the odd birthday card, I don't use any other pen but the Staedtler fineliner. It's a really good pen - try it and see!The pens came in a cardboard box as shown in the product photograph.

My favourite pens - a student essential!
I bought these for £11 in a lightening sale a few weeks ago and could not reccomend them more highly! They're a great selection of colours and they're fine quality pens that are comfortable to both colour and write with. From previous packs I know that they take a long time to run out and don't dry up without a fight like many other coloured pen brands. I've come to rely on them for sprucing up my university notes, exam notes and for colouring intricate adult colouring patterns.Their triangular barrel is very ergonomic as it puts very little stress on your hands/fingers (I have hypermobility so these joints often get very painful for me) and this is helped by the vivid colour of the ink as you don't need to put much pressure on the pens at all to get bright, bold colour every time. The pens are very versatile due to the 'superfine' nib and can be comfortably used for both writing notes, underlining, and for colouring in which means you can get a lot of use out of one pack and makes them incredibly handy to carry with you.

Not the color I was expecting
I thought the brown would be lighter, turns out it's very dark, but overall it's a good pen to write with.

Beautiful colour selection
I love the Tri plus fineliners. My budding 12yo artistic daughter loves them too, and this group of complementary coloured pens was perfect. She loves the shades of pink!

Brilliant range of colours
I got the Johanna Basford set of 36 colours as this worked out the best value at the time of purchase. I'm currently colouring in Millie Marotta's Animal Kingdom which I love doing. Although I use both colouring pencils and pens, I prefer to use pens most of the time - I have some chunky ones from Crayola and some medium tip pens also from Staedtler (the other items I've got from them are also good quality) - so I wanted some fine tip pens to colour in the smaller parts. For this they do the job very well. If you were to use them for the whole page it would probably take quite some time and I don't think the results would be that great, so I'd recommend using these alongside some medium tip pens.Although I haven't use them for such these pens seem they would be good for writing or sketching. The range of colours (as you'd expect in a pack of 36) is great, nice and varied with strong colours - the only thing this set is missing is some metallics! Overall I'd recommend these fineliners.

Very comfortable to use
I was given an adult colouring book for Christmas and wanted to get some suitable pens to use. I have a lot of pens but they are either alcohol pens (which bleed through pages) or felt pens which are too wet. I chose these as they were advertised as for colouring books (and my Mum has done by staedtler which she used for colouring books). The reason I went for these as well was due to their triangular design which makes colouring more comfortable for me as I have muscular dystrophy and get aching hands from regular pens and pencils if using for a long time. These work so well and I'm so glad I purchased them. They are definitely worth the price. Due to the fine tips I don't use them to colour large areas (or background or areas bigger than 1 inch square) instead I use the matching pencils.

Great for details, tiny drawings, and adding details to watercolor painting
I ordered these Staedtler Triplus Fineliner set of 36 colors after trying some lesser fineliner markers on dried watercolor flowers to add detail. And I am happy to report that this set, which has better quality markers and a better color selection, is perfect for what I wanted it for. Please note, these are not alcohol markers - they are water soluble, so I add the fine details to florals with these markers after my loose flower paintings are totally dry, and they look great. I use a color that is a little darker than the paint I use for the flower, and it looks like gentle shadows or botanical details, giving the paintings a very finished look. They're also great for tiny, detailed drawings. I do a lot of smaller, detailed abstracts - usually very geometric - and these pens are wonderful for these. The paper i use is tile to postcard sized, and I'm very pleased with the results. Please note that I hvaen't yet lightfast tested them, although I will. For now, I use them for sketchbook work, where lightfastness isn't important.I love drawing with them, love adding them to dry watercolor paints, and they really did exceed my expectations. Oh, and considering they're under $20 for 36 markers, I also consider them a good value.
