These fixings are genius in design. A very simple idea that keeps those loved badges fixed on your cloths.

These are excellent, can't recomend them enough. I use them to secure metal pin badges to leather motorbike jacket and ruck sacks etc. They work very well and prevent the loss of the badges. The usuall butterfly clips provided with the badges are flimsy and prone to either releasing their grip or just falling apart.These barrel locks can be tightened right up so you don't have to worry if throwing your jacket / rucksack etc a bout.The allen key is very small, so you may have to shine an angles light onto the thing to make it easier to get the key into the screw.remember to unscrew the screw a little before putting onto the pin shank. I put the screw as close to the the badge as possible, other wise the the locking screw will be further up the pin shank.

I am fed up of buying pin badges and then finding they have gone missing at the end of the day due to those cheap clips behind then (butterfly clips).These screw on locks are amazing ! There is no way on Earth these are ever going to let go (stainless steel too !). Don’t go mad tightening the new fasteners as they are made of materials way way better than the badges they are designed to protect and can easily shear the pin - just shows that these are quality items and I would recommend them to everyone - brilliant idea and executed perfectly (no sharp edges or poor threads etc ) 10/10 all day long

This is an amazing item we have brought these before and because my husband has more pin badges we had to buy some more , since using these he has never lost any badges, will definitely buy these again when needed

Does what it says it does. The hole the nut is in is small so you may need someone with good eye site to pop the alan key (provided) in to unlock them, but once that's done easy to use. Hint unlock the nut fully, but not so much as it comes out. This allows you to push your badge stem a little further in to make it bite thinner maternal (something you cannot do with the normal butterfly backs). So good I'm ordering a second bag. Wish they did them in a larger number. Family and friends are taking them off me so quick :)

If you wear badges with butterfly clasps you need these things. Much better and much more secure.
