Very light weight. Very strong. Impressive!
Very light weight.. I purchased x2 of these so have 12 stakes. Still MUCH lighter than the 16 the tent come with (which you don't need). Build quality and strength is on a whole other level too!! Really pleased.Am going to purchase another set of 6 too for a different rucksack.

You get what you pay for!
I bought these to replace the standard pegs on my Robens tent. I'd already purchased some for my MSR tent.You may well ask why I need two packs but once they are bought they are put in the tent pack that way they never get left behind!Used these pegs in various surfaces including some quite hard ground and the perform very well.Go in relatively easily and feel secureYes, there's cheaper options but but cheap buy twice .....or lose your tent in a strong wind!

Solid &!lightweight I don’t think you will beat these unless a force ten wreaks havoc through your site.

Too expensive
The product itself is great. It does exactly what it says and it's the best lightweight tent peg I've found so far. However, the knock-off brands have 20 of these for £10 as opposed to £6 for £18 when buying MSR. I would highly recommend you get the knock-offs as they're almost exactly the same and much cheaper.

Lightweight, strong piece of gear
Ideally suited for any tent or tarp in ordinary conditions, due to their low weight, good grip and holding power and robust material. Less good in very soft and muddy ground or where soil is heavily frozen.

USEFUL STAKES
I NEEDED SOME GOOD TENT PEGS TO TIE DOWN MY MAIN GUIDE ROPES ON MY LIGHTWAVE TENT.AND THESE GROUNDHOGS FIT THE BILL DOWN TO A T. LIGHTWEIGHT AND STRONG,EASY TO PULL OUT ,MAKE THESE A GOOD BUY.

Rock solid stakes
Went camping last week and used these tent pegs. They slid into the ground easily. Then the wind picked up, it was quite gusty up in the mountains where I had camped, and it kept moving round. At one point it was blowing really hard against the side of the tent. Luckily things quietened down overnight. But the MSR groundhogs hadn't budged a millimetre. In the morning a sharp tug on each of the attached cord loops brought them straight out of the ground. The peat needed cleaning out of the three angles, but that was a very small price to pay for a design which certainly paid for itself many times over that night. Excellent.

Great pegs
Lightweight and we're a good upgrade compared to my old pegs. I would have preferred a slightly bigger loop so I could put my finger in there to pull the pegs out of the ground
