The electric mechanism died within just one year, and that happened even without me using it daily. In fact, I used it only approximately 10 times in said year.

Great lift, quiet and excellent raise and lower speed. Only problem I have had is with the wireless remote, constantly changing the battery, do not know the reason why but batteries failing after not using in 24 hours.

First one came in damaged and I mean the top plate and bottom plate were seriously bent and a lot of paint chipped off all over. The unit looked like it had been used and repackaged. Touchstone did not want to replace it but after finding out that I would not keep it, they shipped another one. The packaging is totally inadequate and the wiring looks like a disaster. We got it installed and went to mount a 185# flat-screen and the top leaned forward because the brackets for the screen were too weak and would flex allowing the top to lean. I sent an email and got zero response so I ordered a bracket from Peerless that took care of the problem. This lift is over rated and of poor quality over all. This was the first of twelve units we were going to build out for our client. The other eleven will be from another manufacturer. The whole Touchstone experience left a lot to be desired.
