Unlike others, this one worked great for me.
My kitchen sink was blocked, although I think the blockage was somewhere outside. I put 4 bottles of a different unblocked into the sink, same next day. 10 days later still blocked. Decided to try something else,I saw this one and decided to give it a go. Same procedure as others. Went to bed. Next day running clear. Brilliant. Ordered 2 more for my cupboard.

Dos the job
The kitchen drain was blocked with little to no drainage and the plunger had no effect at all. Used the product and it cleared the blockage up to a level that the water does drain but needs a few mins to completely drain out thereafter, will buy this great product again to complete the job!

Couldn't have cleared it without you HG.
I had a complete blockage, standing water the lot! This was my last resort (already owning a master plunger and a plumbers snake). Did it work?Well yes and no.I removed as much water as possible, as per instructions, and then poured the measures required for my bathroom sink down the hole as it were. As expected this quickly overfilled into my sink (because of the complete blockage and this being a totally liquid product compared to a gel or the like) however pleasantly surprised to find this a clean process. No messy splashing or foaming. Within 5 minutes the water went down at least 2cm so it was definitely doing something. I then left it overnight as instructed. The following morning however the water/HG mix in my sink had moved no further. DRAMA.Considering the fact that I couldn't use the sink before pouring this down there I had no real qualms with giving it a bit more time, so I carried on with my life and left it for 3 days. Then one evening upon getting home from work and trying to mentally work out exactly how much a plumber would charge me to fix this I thankfully tried the trifecta. After giving HG 3 days to do it's stuff and using a combination of the plumbers snake and the plunger the blockage was cleared within 10 minutes. Now don't misunderstand me, this sounds like all it took was elbow grease but this stuff certainty did SOMETHING, even if it couldn't manage the whole job on it's own. I didn't have the plunger/plumbers snake just sitting around before I purchased HG, I had tried both of them separately and together.I'd imagine in less dire situations than mine this would jolly well sort it out all on it's own but I am understanding that I had a particularly nasty blockage and a three pronged attack was required. Although I had to do some work myself I am extremely pleased that I paid £10ish pounds for this rather than calling a plumber as my problem is absolutely solved. The sink has never been clearer and I didn't get burned with acid or anything ridiculous. What more can I ask for?

Worked really well
I was impressed with this as other products in their range (and other brands) had not really worked at all well. This did work much better and sorted the problem almost completely, but with a caveat - I think that much older drain pipes must develop a constant build up over time that the only way to completely clean them is by either removing and brush cleaning or even replacing.I think this product, used regularly a few times will come as close to that as possible.

Didn't clear bath blockage.
Used as directed, and easy enough to follow instructions. Left overnight for best results, blockage only partially removed. Not as effective as I thought.

just as useless....
Along with another HG product this one is just as useless. I used the HG "Drain and Plug Unblocker" first and even after much more than 24hrs it had done absolutely nothing. So, as recommended by HG, I then used this "Duo Unblocker" which it is claimed to have the ability to move through the water before dissolving the blockage and this Duo Unblocker is just as useless as the Drain and Plug Unblocker. Now for the worst part of purchasing HG products... HG clearly state that one can get a "full refund" on the purchase of it's products, if they don't work. After reading the conditions attached and the evidence they require, including a plumber's estimate etc. I found that not only will it be time consuming to claim so little back but also stressful to get the evidence they require. For what it would cost to get a plumber, before claiming one's m,oney back, it is highly likely that it would be much, much cheaper to replace a section of the pipe ( the section that is blocked but HG will not make a refund unless one has paid an expensive plumber. That basically means that any DIYer that uses this product has two choices, replace a section of the pipe and make no claim against this useless product or call a plumber and pay an extortionate amount just to make a claim from HG. In other words, one won't get his / her money back after purchase and HG have made it so hard to claim that they know it.After almost three days of having a blocked pipe I do have a plumber coming in five days time but given the conditions for a claim I simply have to write my loss off and remember, from experience, to never use any HG products again. What the HG products, including this one has actually done inside my pipe is to soften then harden the debris so it's become a solid blockage of hard rock like material that is a bit similar to the limescale that one gets inside a kettle so it is difficult to remove but it can be done although not with the LG products that made a simple clearance job into a demolition job.I cannot recommend this product as it simply doesn't do the job one would expect it to do. It will possibly work fine for simple blockages where the waste water still moves down to the sewers but for anything else this is both poor value and a waste of time.
