This Item was exactly as the seller described it, A good, solid Cast iron griddle. Both me and my partner have cooked on this item many times now, mostly things like bacon, sausage and burgers. Items do not stick and are cooked very well and very evenly as the heat is spread throughout the griddle. Both me and my partner are very happy with the product and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a griddle.

Great product, excellent service and even better delivery expectation. Ordered 6pm day before and delivered next day at 11am. Very heavy plate. Only recommendation is when you use it first time spray some oil on it and coat it well so food does not stick on the plate.

Its a cast iron, double sided griddle pan and thus doesn't have a huge list of features. It works well enough on my induction hob. Griddle (ribbed) side down it works perfectly. Flat side down (the flat side has a perimeter lip) it won't 'connect' to my double ring. I suspect this is because the metallic surface is distanced by the perimeter. Strangely, it will connect to the high power 'wok burner' ring that way up. This means a hot spot in the middle and not such even heat distribution (hence only 4*) but fine for a steak. Being cast it does have the ability to scratch fine glass surfaces, but I put a sheet of baking paper / parchment between the griddle and the hob and that works fine.

Unlike the item description says, this does NOT work on induction hobs - at least not well. There is too much gap between the griddle and the induction hob, and the hob keeps warning that it is not correctly positioned and flashes warning lights. It works better with flat side up. With griddle side up, it doesn't even get warm.

This fits perfectly on my portable 2 ring electric table top cooker in my campervan which we use for BBQ's under the awning. I seasoned it on the house stove and it has taken the seasoning process brilliantly. So now nothing sticks with only light spray of sunflower oil and after cooking a quick hot soapy wash with a dish brush and a rub dry with a tea cloth and it's ready to go again. So we use it now for a fried breakfast in the morning and a cook out in the evening. Hint. Dont use it until you have seasoned it with good olive oil, dont rush the seasoning and after doing both sides let it cool naturally, wipe off any excess and wash and dry as above. Most of all, dont panic with the amount of smoke during the seasoning I find that it's a vital part of the process and once done we get very little smoke of it, if any, during cooking.

Bought this to use as grilling meat for cooking. To start off it was fine, but as it cooks the meat longer it starts to produce charcoal bits - like you are doing a BBQ.It was only after washing did the rusty area appears. The grill were soaked before washing and standard washing sponge were used during washing.Would not expect to see such results from this what feels and looks like a very premium product.Were very disappointing with this product as I were expecting this product to be a keeper.This had now gone into the bin.

If you have a gas ho, this product will be perfect for you - it it solid and the grill ridges are deep. Delivery was prompt and the item well packaged. Unfortunately the underside is very rough and if you have a glass/ceramic induction hob (like mine) then this product will NOT be suitable as it surely scratch. I have reluctantly returned the item.

This arrived very quickly and is better quality than I had any reason to expect, considering the price. It's nice and heavy, fits great over the hob, and has been a lot of fun to use! So far I've used it to cook fish and chicken and. both have come out lovely. I'm really impressed with this product.
