To a certain extent probably, they are leather, so you can't go wading for fish with them. You could probably put nubuck or something on them & totally waterproof them. I've been out on the yard in the wet & the dung & feet are always dry, but they are still a leather boot

You should be ok, I take a 10 and bought a 10, and they are ok, 11, I think may have been too large for me, shame they don't do half sixes though. Hope this helps. I still like mine and would buy them again.
