Water Finding Paste (85 gms). Detects harmful water in Fuel / Heating Oil Tanks

Brilliant stuff. So simple and easy to use. It does exactly what it said it would do. It took less tha 5 minutes to carry out the task and it put my mind at ease on how much water I had in the tank which was less than 1/2" and a good 2" below the outlet. I would certainly recommended it.

I brought this due to having finding I had water in my heating oil tank that I needed to drain out and this made the job so much easier. To use it I smeared a layer on end of a pole and dipped the tank to tell how much water was in there and repeated throughout the draining process until it didn’t change colour. Overall the product worked well and was a reasonable price.

I wanted to detect any water in my heating oil tank as I had left the filler cap off by mistake.To my relief this product works really easily. Just smear the paste around the bottom few inches ofA dip stick (or garden cane). The paste is unaffected by the heating oil, but I saw a millimetre or so at the bottom where the product had turned bright red because of some sunken water. In my case not enough to cause worry or damage.Reassurance for a modest price.

Worked a treat. After a storm blew the cover off our oil tank and we did not notice it for a day of rain we wanted to make sure the water level wouldn't rise to the outlet. Applied some paste to a stick and lowered it to the bottom of the tank. Only 2mm of water was visible so all good.
