Onimonogatari picks up the story of Araragi's relationship with Shinobu and Mayoi from Kabukimonogatari. (If that first sentence sounds like gibberish to you then you are probably not deep into the second season of this exceptional anime and you need to back up and return to the earlier chapters!) If you're all caught up with the plot so far, then read on, because this disc is something special.Onimonogatari has some of the best art in the entire series: not only the gorgeous diorama in the second episode where Shinobu tells the story of her past but also in the striking background & character designs throughout. It also has one of the best opening themes and, more importantly, a whole lot of nearly everything that makes the Monogatari series good in the first place.I say “nearly everything” because this arc has a more fantasy feel about it: Araragi's usual world (including the more flesh & blood members of his harem) are missing, and some may find the usual psychological aspect of the series in short supply. But in terms of mystery, suspense, atmosphere, low comedy, high emotion and rambling, elliptical conversation, this has it all.Quite apart from being essential to the patient unfolding of season two, this is a classic arc to be enjoyed on its own.

I bougth this bluray because I love its series! I would recmoend this product to everyone who loves anime and have seen the previous seasons before. You'll enjoy to watch this story in HD. Definitely, it's worth the price.
