Q: Does this work with 2ah batterys

I have used it with both 4 ah and 2 ah 18v batteries.

Q: is this the one that has both the normal colour and a red colour beam

no just a white beam, but high and low power. 1000 lumen/ 100 lumen

Q: Does it click on n off or do u have to hold the button?

The button clicks on and the lamp stays on full on. If you click it again the lamp changes to a “dipped beam” setting. Click it a third time and it switches off. The full beam is really bright and focused. It works best as a spot light. Very pleased with it.

Q: Dewalt site states torch at 1500 lumens, old version was 1000 lumens, is this the older version?
