I read a review on this product that estimated this saved 3-400% (or was it 4-500%?) of time to do the transcription - I would suggest that it was considerably more than that. What was more it was just so simple to use. I downloaded Express Scribe ([...]) which was free, plugged in the foot pedal, assigned functions to each of the 3 pedals and off I went. If I have a teeny comment to make it was that the default setting for the controls seemed a bit counter-intuitive (easily remedied) and perhaps a little more irritatingly the rewind pedal seems to move the audio back very slowly (at least at first, but maybe that makes sense to people who're more experienced at transcribing audio than I am).
