Very compact, as described. But with under an hour of use digging in soil the shovel face broke away from its articulated joint - fatigue failure in the metal itself rather than a weld failure. Returning it, and glad I bought this through Amazon !

My grandson who is 10 ordered this.....really not suitable for any one under 18....the product itself is ideal as a hiking shovel.

The main reason i purchased this unit is to maintain camp oven hot coals around a fire. the size of the shovel including the length of the handle is perfect. The fact that it has other usable implements such as a fero rod and sharp implement is a bonus . worth the money in my view and will get plenty of use.

The shovel is good quality and compact. Easy to assembly and very handy portable tool. Only thing is the manual most part is Chinese not much english.

When I first purchased this I was highly skeptic but it’s great three pieces one two three simple don’t get them mixed up with the axe I did lol half and hour trying to assemble but stupid me finally figured out duh it’s three pieces lol buy this you will be happy

this is quite cool. feels sturdy. will be great to keep in the truck for emergencies.took a real long time to arrive but no big deal.

I like the design, sharp edges, hidden tools. I like that you can use different handle configurations. I like that you can carry this on our belt. I would mainly use it when camping, or as a survival tool.

This multi purpose spade is well built and reliable. The only downside of this product is the colour of its storage pouch. Considering it's designed to be an outdoorsy/tactical spade, an earthy colour (e.g. black, brown, khaki, camo) would be appropriate. However the product is stored in a bright baby-blue coloured pouch.

ordered two of this product and my two buddies who are outdoor adventurers are ecstatic about this, yes I would recommend it as a small gift, quality is not bad, delivery was very quick.

Bought for both my grandsons and they love it. Every time they go on an outing outdoors it comes with them and they find a new use for it.

I like the versatility of the shovel and that it is super compact. Fits well in my travel bag. The spots where it screws together are a bit "grindy" but I put a drop of oil on each connection spot and it no longer feels like it is grinding. It is a bit heavier than I expected and more sturdy so was pleasantly surprised.

Acheter pour tenter de se débarrasser d'une souche...se n'est pas du tout son travail et elle n'est pas adaptée mais elle a beaucoup d'autres choses à donner ! Petite pelle, mini scie (petit arbre tendre), décapsuleur, couteau (bien tranchant et facile de prise en main), écailleur, sifflet (il fonctionne bien), pierre à feu (à utiliser avec le couteau, fonctionne parfaitement )...Enfin bref si vous partez à la pêche, en camping où sur une île déserte elle vous sera bien utile!

Missing my flashlight. Also smaller than I though picture shows it having 4 connecting bars I was sent 3 have not used it yet but seems to be a nice piece. Will comment more after use

Seems like a very good product. The head of the shovel is smaller than I anticipated and there is no compass included. But overall it seems like it'll be a very useful tool.
