Exactly what i needed
Exactly what i needed great value for money and easy to install. I wanted it for my garden gate as i have 3 dogs, so needed their space more secure.

Yale a make you can trust
Well the first lock l bought was so blooming awful that it broke before I’d even tried it - that’ll teach me to be cheap skate ! This was easy to fit and does the job along with my other locks and bolt and my door now resembles Fort Knox !

Nice lock, easy to fit
This was bought to replace a badly fitted 40mm night latch. I admit that I've done a lot of DIY, including fitting locks, but for any competent DIYer, this should be a straightforward fit, as long as you follow the instructions carefully and have the right tools (32mm spade drill bit and a good, sharp chisel are a must).The lock is up to the expected Yale quality. It's not the highest security rating, but it's sufficient for our needs as we have other locks on the door for security. For the price, it's excellent.

Brittle/ light metal
Works well & easy installation , but the metal here is much more brittle/ light compared to original , not sure how it would perform in durability tests vs the original.
