I had open heart surgery. My cholesterol is and has been literally low -ldl of 12- my only risk factor is diabetes... and microplastics.I really do not want to have another open heart surgery, (my ac1 is 5.3 now...), so i also decided to try to reduce microplastics.This is a perfect large cup/mug. It is straight walled and has a comfortable handle. (handle could be slightly improved, but it isn't bad at all) It is super easy to clean with just spraying it with water.I drink several cups of tea per day, which stains plastic cups, causing me to scrub them with metal scrubbers -microplastics?Anyway, i know this is intended for candle making, but for it being, (to me), a stainless steel, straight walled cup/mug/pitcher- this is PERFECT!Nope, never made a candle with it and do not plan to. I have an electric water kettle, (1.75 liters), that i brew tea in. When i finish a cup of this 'pot', i add sweetener to the now empty 'pot' and then poor my brewed tea from the kettle into this. Works perfectly for me - 1.75 liters is 59.17 oz :)

The construction is made out of stainless steel and is very durable , great price. The size is very convenient and easy to handle. I use this container in a boiler method to make candles and lotion sticks. As soon as I finish with this container I wipe it with a paper towel to get the remaining wax out of it, so that it will not stick to the container and be hard to get off later. I would definitely buy this product again.

I am new at candle making and used the pitcher as a double boiler insert and then to pour the melted wax. Worked just great.
