Wella Shockwaves Volume Mousse, 200ml

I have never brought mousse before, in the past hairdressers have applied it and it felt like I had a helmet on my head.My new hairdresser caught me unawares and had mousse on my hair before I knew what was happening - I was so pleased with the result I brought some.Shake the can really well, then squirt a golf ball size of mousse into your hand, this soon expands to the size of a tennis ball. I then scrunched it into my wet hair and combed it through. The instructions say to apply with a comb and then run it through, I tried this but found I used too much and my hair ended up feeling stiff.I then blowed dried my hair styling it with a round brush, I found the bigger the brush the more volume I got (which I suppose is obvious).Overall - excellent product, very reasonably priced, easy to use and the end result is soft, long lasting volume.

Only product that works nicely for my hair! Gives volume and brings out curls. Pretty sticky though and can dry hard if you use too much. Awesome for loose curly/crimped hair.

A nice consistency hair mousse which held my hair in style well. Not too sticky and keeps my curls in check. Not much of a smell and is nice and light when applied.

I bought as I have short hair but now I’m in my 50s it’s getting wiry. This is simple to use and very effective at keeping the style in place.

This gives good results on day one but the hold doesn’t last beyond that. I have to use a lot of product to get good results but then it feels sticky and goes a bit flakey. So not great value as I get through it too quickly. There are better mousses available from other brands.
