My sweet angel boy has crossed the rainbow bridge now, but this suit was perfect for what we needed it for while he was still here. He had a mass on his side that required a dressing, which he would eat if left unattended for even a second, and this prevented him from being able to do so. We also wanted him to be able to sleep in bed with us during his final weeks without his wound oozing all over our bed sheets and this allowed us to snuggle and comfort him without that worry. The material is giving, and was comfortable for him and the back end is easy to take down and roll up for potty breaks. There is a velcro flap on the back to secure the bottom half once you've rolled it up so it is out of the way which is very convenient. We washed it several times and it did not shrink in the dryer. While we did not need the suit for surgery, it would definitely do it's job to prevent licking for that purpose as well. If you've ever purchased a surgical suit from a pet store, you know that the prices are astronomical and the one I purchased from the store prior to returning and ordering this was a terrible fit even tho I measured my dog, and the fit of this suit was perfect using their sizing chart and you can't beat the price. Definitely recommend.

I will start by saying I got the sizes small and medium. His measurement was at the very end on the small size, so I got both. The small fits my Yorky great. It was a little baggy on his butt at first, but still good. Now that I washed it, it fits perfect. I haven't even tried the medium. Im pretty certain it will be way to big. My Yorkie has bad allergies and gets allergy shots every 3 months. I think because it's spring he needs a shorter time in-between shots. Anyhow he has been scratch constantly and tearing up his skin bad. I got him a soft collar which helped but because I am putting ointment on his chest & belly, the addition of this onesie help keep that on and a barrier if he used his feet to scratch He doesn't try and scratch at all in this. Except for his feet a bit. It has definitely helped the healing process. Not to mention how you don't have to take off the whole onesi for him to do his business. The velcro is also top quality and strong. That convenience is much appreciated. It exceeded my expectations. I absolutely recommend this!

We got this for our dog after he was neutered. He hated the cone, chewed one stitch out and had to get restitched. This little suit is made well and the fabric is soft. It’s was easy to put on but he loves clothes so I don’t know if it would be as easy to put on a dog fighting against clothes. Lol! It was a little larger than I wanted and he could still get his nose in the leg area which defeated the purpose. He is a very skinny rescue though so under different circumstances it might fit more as expected. We ended up using an xxs doggie diaper underneath this suit and that solved the problem. I’m glad we found this suit and he still loves wearing it for warmth. I’d buy again if needed.

This was easy to put on, and covered the area following our dogs neutering. The fit was perfect.

I purchased the small and medium for our 14lb dachshund. The small was not long enough and the medium was too large. Good product in theory, just didn’t work for us.

Our 8 year old, 10 pound poodle, had to have mammary masses and a rectal mass surgically removed. We adopted her from a high kill shelter and it was obvious went through a lot of trauma. That was sometime ago and her anxiety and fear of stranger and confinement have remained. Unfortunately the hard plastic cone of shame terrifies her. So we bought this J surgical suit, just prior to her surgery date, along with a soft cone, and an inflatable donut style recovery collar. I bought a second post surgical suit for her that is made so that she can go potty without having to take it on and off, but it has a little less coverage in the abdomen area and I was concerned she'd be able to chew her sutures along her belly in that one... But without trying them on, I just wasn't sure.This post surgical suit is perfect for her immediate recovery. I was hesitant to purchase it after reading some of the negative reviews detailing sizing issues. I'm glad I opted to try it despite those reviews. #1 I read the entire listing and description for size information. #2 I measure my dog with a measuring tape accurately. Zero issues! It is soft and roomy enough to be breathable to ensure good healing, and is comfortable too. The velcro wrap / closure that goes around her midsection, is nice and secure and is fully adjustable. So far she has not had to wear any cones or donuts! After 7-10 days of recovery, We'll give the other suit a try so she can start using the pet door and going potty outside whenever she needs to.

This recovery suit has been very helpful with our puppy who is recovering for surgery. She likes to chew on everything she can get her teeth around and lick herself but the suit prevents her from picking her stitches and she hasn't been able to chew it up or off. I also love the easy foldable back end on the suit that makes going potty simple and prevents anything from getting on the suit. My two critiques would be it is more pink than purple which is more a preference thing than a real issue and due to my puppy's body length we had to go up a size so the suit is a little looser than I would have liked. Still even with those critiques I give this a 5 out of 5 and highly recommend.

The suit worked great after puppies surgery. However he is a clever dog and would slip out of it at night.

We have a 14 lb Cavalier and this suit fit fairly well…a little loose around the privates so sometimes he could still get in a lick or two but overall it was a good suit..light weight and soft.

My pup is 16 and has a little bit of a licking problem. Since she got this little suit she doesn’t have to wear a cone when she’s unmonitored. She can’t lick herself but is super comfortable in her little outfit. She got size small (she weighs 8-9 pounds). This probably is one of the best products I’ve bought for her. She is comfortable happy and is super excited to show her little outfit off. This little suit has two layers easy to wash and fits her perfectly and is adjustable. The product looks exactly like how it looks in the photos. I highly recommend this if you have an older pup that needs an anti licking aid. I will be getting more of these little jumpers :)

Nice material. The fit is larger, than it says, I’d go down a size. My dog walks comfortably around in it. I will know in 5 days how well it works for her after her surgery

my gordon setter had abdominal surgery and we used this during his recovery so he could feel more comfortable nearing the end of the recovery period. personally wouldn’t leave him unsupervised in it but worked great for when we were home with him! would also advise against keeping this on your pet all the time as it can interfere with the healing process (do ur research) but would 100% recommend to help your pup feel more comfortable during the healing of their surgery/wound!!
