Particularly good for children and new converts to Christianity but can be enjoyed by everyone. Containing all the lovely well-known line drawings and more, plus 24 colour illustrations. I particularly like the translation, easy to understand without being too simple or babyish. Ideal for older children and young teens but like I say, surprisingly well translated for the maturer Christian, as it is a proper translation of the entire Bible and not just selected stories. Beautifully written so nothing is lacking and no meaning is lost. Whenever my Faith takes a battering or I get tied up with too much 'academia' and odd times of confusion set in, this Bible always brings me back to the sane, joyful simplicity of the Good News. Hence, both my understanding and confidence in Christ are better for it. Its the easiest Bible to read and one I find myself going back to time and time again.

Nothing can compare to reading a paperback version of the bible . We purchased a hard back as we thinkThey are more hard wearing when transported back and forth. The english is easily digested for a child and adult.I had the same version when i was a child.This one has beautiful line illustrations (like my original one of 30 years ) but also has the colour photo’s i liked in newer versions. Both mother and daughter love my daughters first “real Bible” . It has good size print and hours ofDiscovery for my daughter.

Very good Bible for my 7yr old. He loves it. The letters are a bit tiny though but it’s ok. It has Bible books on the side to help him find the chapters. Very recommended.

Bought this for a confirmation gift for a young person who is Danish but learning English, speaks it well and starting to read well. Pleased with the style and illustrations.

A nice bible and appears value for money and suitable for the age group for which it was purchased

JESUS CHRIST THIS BIBLE IS SO GOOD I LOVE IT. I love to read it everywhere my favourite place to read it is in the garden when I'm doing a sloppy poop. I really apprichiate it. my way of showing I aprechiate it is by scraping of the food from my poo (e.g carrots or sweetcorn) out of my hole and use the pages to wipe the soft poop.

Received this for my children. Both the back and front had quite a lot of damage. A sticker was put on the front to cover up the damage.

Excellent easy to read bible. Ideal version for a child's first bible. Bible is quite compact, ease of carrying and yet the words are too small to read!
