I had to put new holes in the bird house to attach to this, not a problem, but I didnt plan it out very well and dit it to high on the house and couldn't get the screws into from the inside. I didnt want the screws poking through to the inside of the box to cut the birds. So I made yet again new holes and I did buy new screws with nuts to make sure this stayed attached very well in all the weather. I didnt care for the screws that came with this pole. The ends of the pole are definitely doing a great job at stabilizing the pole and house. Went together easily. I'm getting more of these in the spring so I can houses all over my yard. Now I'm not stuck finding a tree to make it work and end up seeing the squirrels get into the house to eat the babies, ugh. This pole will be much better.
