Rolson 10021 8 oz Stubby Ball Pein Hammer

As in the title, great little hammer for my small carry-bag tool kit. Got the ball-pein one so it doesn’t snag on the bag and takes up a bit less room than the claw version. Lovely robust construction and very comfortable grip.You won’t be doing major jobs with it, because of the size, but didn’t get it for that purpose, and perfect size/weight for knocking wall plugs, smaller nails or pins in, without having to carry a larger hammer in the tool bag.Very pleased with this.

You know those sorts of situations where you've got a little job to do, like knocking in a small nail, and you try hammering it in with the side of some pliers - but it never quite works and you end up swearing, marking the wall, and hurting your fingers? Well, this is perfect for doing a proper job in such circumstances! It is actually *really* handy. It's just small enough for me to store in our electronics/small-tools box and therefore is ready to grab quickly for any little jobs without having the wade through our big heavy-duty tool bags... but it's still heavy enough to actually hammer things in!One of my most loved tools... which is ironic as I only bought it as a filler item to reach the Amazon minimum free delivery price!

There have been times in the past when I've needed to use a hammer in a tight space and found that my normal ones are too awkward to use due to the long handles. I've since bought two of these stubby hammers from Rolson and have to say that I'm very pleased with them. They still have a bit of weight to them at 8oz but the handles are short enough that I can use them in places that a full-sized one would never fit. The handles are very grippy too and the tool certainly looks very well-made for the price.
