Lightweight to wear , imprefer these to the can style defenders. They are effective at keeping the noise out, come with spare plugs, and I haven't really noticed any issue with noise from anything touching the headband that some people report. Overall I'm really pleased with these and would buy them again

These are as good, if not better, than my full sized ear defenders. I keep these in my tool "bag" unlike my huge ones that I keep with my tool boxes. These fit in the ears then behind the neck best for me.When not in use then I leave them around my neck with the foam grommets towards the front. I have knocked an orange end (spares come with them) off twice out of the whole time I've had them but I actually find that by situating then as I've said then this never happens now. TBH a tiny drop of superglue (don't let my suggestion make it appear there is a fault, because there isn't) would make a world of difference if you use them in a scenario where the orange ends are likely to be knocked around/off... its not like you still couldn't simply twist them off (they are only dense foam) if you need to change them at some point in the future!All in i absolute love these things and it's a godsend to just have a pair of decent ear defenders to hand regardless of what kit I take to a job... Typical 3M excellence.

I have tried all of them from the most expensive to the cheapest and these (the cheapest) are the best. Convenient to use. You don't have to poke around looking for them. They fit the ear with just a little adjustment. Come with lot of spare ear pieces. Much more user friendly than full over-ear protectors especially sleeping or laying down. Cheap and replacable. From a top maker - 3M. Don't waste time and money on the other more fiddly, fancy or complex designs. These are the ones!

Good noise reduction, easy to use but in my case it became hurtful after an hour, so I had to remove it and then wait for 10-20 mins, to plug it back.

I shoot photography for a glossy car magazine and spend many many hours at places like Silverstone and Brands hatch, these are invaluable, more expensive than most but you get what you pay for.The only thing I don't like is the headband is short so you have to wear them on the neck, I prefer over the head

Good quality for the price

Clearly these won't offer the level of protection you would attain from a good over ear set however more than suitable for angle grinders, chop saws and general power tools.

Most comfortably worn with head band sling under chin as not long enough to fit over head. The head band rubs on clothing and the sound it makes, magnifies through the ear defenders - quite annoying for any length of time - disappointed
