Purchased this for my 3.5 yo nephew who is often “grumpy”. Yes, he’s very good at being 3 years old and learning how to express emotions. My nephew loves “Grumpy Monkey” (red cover book) and Grumpy Monkey…Are we there yet?” (Blue cover book). He has become more patient and is quicker to get passed “grumpy” mood swings with laughter and a big smile thanks to Jim 🙉, Norman 🦍, Marabou 🦩 and Tortoise 🐢 .

Such a cute book! I think it helps kids process feelings like anger, sadness and depression, without judgement. Funny entertaining to read aloud

The Grumpy Monkey books get such hype, but really only one or two of them were very much fun. The others were just ... grumpy. Not so fun for reading aloud. That said, they're durable, colorful books, so baby is just fine playing with them.
