I used one of those cheap stick-on strip thermometers on my 20-gallon tank for about a year. It worked okay, but after upgrading to a 40-gallon and seeing one of these digital touch thermometers on a coworker’s shrimp tank, I decided to give it a try—especially since it was only about $10.✅ What I Like:Way more accurate than the strip ones. With this, I actually trust the temperature readings—super important when you're dealing with sensitive fish or shrimp.Easy to read and use: The touch display is quick to check with just a tap. I find myself absentmindedly touching it every time I walk by—it’s oddly satisfying.Good adhesion so far: It’s stuck on well for a few months now. It did fall off once, but I’m 99% sure that was my cat’s fault. There were some suspicious paw smudges and cat hair around the area…Clean design: It doesn’t clutter the look of the tank and is simple to install.⚠️ Minor Notes:The adhesive pad is decent but not industrial-strength. If you have curious pets (like mine), maybe keep it higher on the tank out of reach or reinforce with a backup adhesive if needed.Doesn’t have advanced features: Just a basic thermometer—but honestly, that’s all I wanted.💡 Final Thoughts:If you’re still using the stick-on strip thermometers, this is a big step up for just a few more dollars. It’s simple, accurate, and looks nice on the tank. Definitely worth picking up—especially for larger tanks where stable temperature is even more important.

This has been a fantastic addition to my tank. Goes pretty unnoticed but with a soft touch, I can check the temp whenever needed.

This is the second one I purchased for my second tank because of the ease and convenience of using it. Just peel the sticker on the back and place it on my tank and it was ready to go. Whenever I need to view the temperature in my tank, I just lightly tap and it gives me the temperature. This is a great product for anyone needing an easy, readable, affordable, sturdy, and accurate thermostat. Why did you pick this product vs others?:Works very well. I don't have to worry about cords or anything. I usually buy the corded ones and they just break too much, so I tried this product. Works very well. Lets me know exactly what the temperature is like that it's on the outside of the tank. That way I don't have to look for that floating thermometer that's supposed to stick to the tank on the inside but never does. Love this thermometer Just press and see my temperature. Great! Very accurate. Easy to read display! All I have to do is tap the button to view the temperature. Occasionally, it falls off the tank, but I just stick it back on.
