Just a bit monotonous
The media could not be loaded. I enjoy a jigsaw puzzle of a nostalgic wholesome scene as much as the next person, but this just wasn’t fun to do. For a start, the lining on the bus and ice-cream vans is the same, so you can’t separate the pieces. At least 15 of the pieces were damaged, their image flaking off. The most exciting part of this to do was the red phone box, and that’s only because I like red phone boxes. I didn’t feel a sense of achievement when I found another pair of identical legs or the top of a daffodil. The hue on the memorial plaque appears cream on the box yet the piece is definitely in the grey family. Over a third of this is mountains and trees, so brace yourself for monotony. I miss the ease and variety of Betty’s Sweet Shop, but then I’m sure I’m not alone there. Like I said: this just wasn’t fun to do.
