Easy to fit and much better quality than the standard NHS ferrules they've replaced
Update February 2024The original review is below but I wanted to give a brief update because after a fraction under 4 years I've just ordered my second set of these ferrules. The first pair were fitted to my crutches in early 2020 and lasted nearly 3 years before they needed to be replaced. The second pair will need replacing quite soon, after about 15 months, but I'm now using both crutches all the time both indoors and outside.Everything I wrote in the original review is still true and I still think these are the best ferrules for crutches that you can buy.Original reviewI have to use either one crutch (indoors) or two (outside) permanently so could be considered quite a heavy user. In the past, whenever the ferrules on a pair of crutches have worn too low to be safe the solution has been to go to physio outpatients to swap the "old" crutches for brand-new ones. Obviously, in the middle of the Coronavirus pandemic that's not an option.I ordered these ferrules because of the positive reviews and oh, the difference ...........The ones being replaced seemed poor quality from new, with the rubber compound cracking almost immediately and the ridges wearing down much faster than usual. I don't know if they were part of a bad batch and I've no idea who made them but the NHS was cheated and so, by extension, was I.I've got arthritic hands and wasn't sure I'd be able to remove the old ferrules by myself, let alone fit the new ones, so felt a real sense of accomplishment when the whole job took about 3 minutes. The difference in grip on the hard floors of the kitchen and conservatory was immediately apparent and I'm no longer worried about going outside either during or after rain. Those of us who use crutches regularly know just how dangerous they can be if there isn't enough grip in the wet!For the price paid, these ferrules are an absolute bargain and I honestly can't see myself swapping crutches again until some other part of the current pair expires from old age. If you need new ferrules, these come very highly recommended by a very happy customer.

They seem to be well made
Time will tell if they last longer but quality look great and eases to fit for me. The biggest shock to me was I got two pair. For the price this is a great product.

Easy to order and swiftly delivered
Having only just put my new ferrules on my sticks I can’t comment on their longevity but, the company dealt very swiftly with my order and they arrived appropriately packaged and fit perfectly.

Soft grippy rubber, hard wearing, tricky to fit.
After first fitting these I was a little worried that they wouldn't be hard wearing as they were significantly softer rubber than my previous ferrules. They give excellent grip on most surfaces and are almost like suction cups on smooth lino which gives reassurance. They also seem hard wearing too though. I've had them on for several months now and they still have plenty of tread left and I'm a heavy user (crutches used daily inside and outside for long distances). They were quite difficult to fit to my heavy duty crutches requiring a lot of force to push them firmly onto the pole. My poles might be slightly oversize though, I'm not sure. I've had a few little slips when outside on wet slippery surfaces but I think that's inevitable and not a problem with the ferrules. They're excellent and definitely more grippy than others I've used.
