I would say this gun works just fine! I'm very pleased with it for the price. The duckbill scissors I received with it also felt nicer than the ones I had purchased from HD previously. I definitely would buy again as I have had no issues with it thus far!

I used this tufting gun to make a beautiful patterned custom rug,it works very great.i was not proficient at the beginning, but after a little practice, i found that the effect was really good. it help me to finish the work quickly, definitely a faster prcoess and much more finished look in comparison to hand punching.the seller kindly printed out the instruction manual of the tufting gun and the points that need to be paid attention to, nice shopping experience

So I bought this gun. Was working great. Nearly had my first rug finished when it immediately stopped working. Ive only used it for about an hour to hour and a half. Thought it was the gun but noticed that the light on the adapter wasn't working. Figured it over heated. Waited 2 hours. Plugged it back in, and still nothing. Just to make sure it was it. I had an old light cord that has the same rounded plug in for the cord. Plugged it in the gun works but low power. So like..... wanna send me a new cord?

I ordered this because I wanted to start my rug testing Journey. I was on a mission to make a rug for my grandmother for Christmas. There is definitely a bit of a learning curve, but the manufacturers have given a lot of thought to the how-to videos as well as finding a lot of videos available online if I had any further questions. I highly recommend taking a brief YouTube course on how to do this correctly before getting started. Remember this is a power tool and it can hurt you. The only issue that I had was the feed plate slipped out while I was in the middle of testing my rug and unfortunately ended up tearing a hole and my rug fabric which is not ideal. I did learn how to fix this so it wasn't a huge disaster. I do recommend making sure that all the nuts bolts and everything are tightened down that are supposed to be but do not over tighten anything that is labeled not to.
