It has a one hour automatic shutoff if you forget to unplug it which is a good thing for safety. The cord is long enough to not bind when you use it. It comes with a glove that helps prevent burns which is nice. It has a storage pouch for travel which is also nice as I can tell this will become a regular item that will need to travel with me. It has a slide lock that will keep the iron safely closed to protect the heating surface for travel. The narrow design will help you easily style the shortest of hair. If you can get your fingers to lift the hair then you can use this flat iron. I'm glad I found this item at a good price and it shipped quickly. It comes in two colors for you to choose from. it's so good, but be aware when you set it to the highest temp.. quite too hot. but it get right in the thin tiny hairline .. and makes the look much cooler!
