Yes, you can adjust it to completely vertical, however the mast is very tall, check your ceiling height and easel specs. The mast slides up as you raise the lower tray to accommodate smaller pieces.

How can i get some better instructions. it seems like i have 2 #4 pieces, not a 4 and a 5. the pictures on instruction sheet are very dark

How i contact the seller? a knob came broken and need a replacement. Impossible to contact them since they are in china.

I can't answer this specifically, however, I would think you could find a replacement; the trick is making sure that the thread is the same on the new piece/part.
