The Best Suet I have Found So Far
I've purchased this suet multiple times over the past couple of years for my backyard suet feeder. I have also bought other brands. I like this C&S brand the best so far. Others are more greasy/oily, or don't hold up well to the Florida heat (even when they say they are melt-resistant). Also, the birds don't seem to be as attracted to other suets I've tried and it lingers around a lot longer. Finally, I've bought other suets that ended up being infested with bugs. I've so far not found any bugs in the C&S brand, or had any develop even after the suet has been stored for several weeks or months. This C&S Peanut Delight brand holds up very well. I have never had a problem with it melting, my hands are never left greasy after I place it in the suet feeder, and the birds love it. I've seen all kinds of birds nibbling on this suet - woodpeckers, mocking birds, tufted titmouses and a variety of little finches, wrens, warblers, sparrows, etc. The squirrels also love it, so it disappears a little faster than I'd like - but squirrels are the tax you pay for being a backyard bird enthusiast (and they can be fun to watch). I use a lot more of this in the winter and spring, when natural food sources are more scarce, migratory flocks come through and the local birds are breeding. Less in the summer and fall.I will continue to purchase this suet as long as the quality remains high.

Attracts lots of birds
This suet has attracted birds that do not typically come to seed feeders. Hairy woodpeckers for example. The chickadees and oak titmice love it. But, the best treat for me is that the crows come for nibbles. The crows have never come into my yard before, they stay in open spaces. So, now I have a pair, who have adopted our yard as their territory. So, in the evenings several mourning doves gather to eat seeds...it is very sweet. A couple of days ago, as it was beginning to get dark, I heard a ruckus. A red shouldered hawk sprung out of a nearby tree with two crows in hot pursuit. No hawks are going to be poaching doves around here...we have police protection.Shhh....the price of this suet goes up every time I order it, it now costs 30% more from Amazon than it did 6 months ago. Since I am using a cake a day, I had to find a better price...yep less than half the price at another web store.

Every bird that generally eats suet (at my place) absolutely devours this.
Perfect for summer - no mess or melt at all. The birds that generally go for suet go mad for this and I have seen pecks from those that would generally prefer the seeds an inch over in the hopper (Cardinals). Blue Jays, Red Bellied Woodpeckers, Downy Woodpeckers, Catbirds, House Finches and Sparrows love it. It even attracted a (usually very suspicious) Grackle (guess he was attracted by the attention, but I suppose that counts..). Very good value for money. Just be ready for some food frenzy squabbles.

These are loved by the birds--don't make a mess--are great. This is not the least expensive way to buy them though!!

Our neighborhood birds love this stuff
I used to purchase the Peanut Delight suet at a local store, but we save about 10% purchasing in bulk here. The birds here absolutely LOVE this stuff. I have a suet feeder, a regular seed feeder (with black oil sunflower seeds) and a watering station. Currently, I have to refill the suet feeder daily because they gobble this stuff down. I've tried a variety of different suet flavors and Peanut Delight is the most popular. We have loads of bluebirds, chickadees, nuthatches and woodpeckers on the suet, as well as European starlings (not as excited about them, but they have to eat, too!). The cardinals, wrens, finches and sparrows seem to prefer the sunflower seeds, but will occasionally hop over to the suet if no other birds are around, and the mourning doves and squirrels eat what drops on the ground. All packages I've received have only contained the Peanut Delight suet and each individual package had in-tact seals on top and had plastic around the entire suet block, as well as plastic around the bulk box. No issues with overly dry or overly wet suet blocks and zero mold. I only purchase this during colder months when food is more scarce, as the birds in our area have plenty to forage during summer months. I imagine it would melt here in North Carolina (Charlotte) during the summer given the high heat and humidity.

Perfect!
My birds love these and they DON'T MELT! I live in Montana where the weather can be extremely cold or hot (-30° F to 110° F) and these suets do not freeze, melt, or crumble apart. I can tell how much the birds (chickadees, finches, blackbirds, robins, etc.) love them because they go through them much faster than any ones I've previously used. Overall, an amazing product with a reasonable price tag.

Horrible
Beware: terrible bird feed. My birds won’t even go near it. What was once a plentiful bird viewing party is now a birdless wasteland. This seller does NOT accept returns. If I had known, I would not have purchased through them. Buy your feed elsewhere.
