This stuff is awesome, I use it to make homemade hummus and it’s offered at a very reasonable price!

This a great tasting, smooth tahini with a rich taste. OPENING BOTTLE - The tahini comes well sealed/protected in a plastic bottle. My only complaint with this product is how hard it is to open. To remove the cap, there is a plastic pull tab that is used to pull off a plastic ring that attaches the cap to the bottle. Every time I have tried to remove the plastic ring, it breaks. This leaves the cap still locked to the bottle and I have to use scissors or a knife to remove the rest of the ring. Then, once the ring is off, I can pull the cap off. But it’s not over yet! Once the cap is off, there is a clear plastic film over the opening that must be removed. Ideally, this film would have a little pull tab on it that would make it easy to pull off. It doesn’t. No matter how many times I buy this brand, I always have to stab the plastic film with a knife and cut it off. CAP - Once the plastic ring and plastic film are removed, the cap is easily removed and replaced. Too easily, in fact. I always fear that the top will pop off. I would not recommend dropping the bottle! STIRRING - Aside from these problems, the tahini itself is great! What I especially love is that it doesn’t require too much stirring when I first open it. Usually, tahini separates when it is not refrigerated. That is, the oil rises to the top and the tahini on the bottom gets very thick. Maybe it’s because I store my tahini upside down before I opened it, but this tahini has almost no separation and no thick spots. Once opened, I always refrigerate it. SMOOTH - As for consistency, this tahini is perfect. It is very creamy and smooth. While it is not as thick as peanut butter, it is not runny either. It is a very happy median. YUMMY - It also tastes very rich without that overpowering bitter taste that I have experienced with other brands of tahini. I really enjoy the taste. I’ve used it in salad dressings (just lemon juice and tahini), homemade hummus, as part of my oatmeal, and as a standalone spread for bananas. It is equally delicious for all uses! OVERALL - Once you get past opening the bottle, this is a great product.

I love this great Tahini flavor. Some times I've gotten a jar that is settled to be oily on top and solid on the bottom... so you may have to mix it. To address that issue, I've been laying the new jar on its side and rotating every few days while I am finishing use of the previous jar.

I initially gave this product only 1 star because one jar's seal was broken and leaking, and all the jars weighed only 12 oz., not 16 oz as advertised. I contacted the seller, and he immediately apologized and sent me a replacement jar. The replacement jar weighed in at a good 16 oz. I re-weighed the others on a more level surface, and they all weighed a good 16 oz. each. So, this deal is not a rip-off. I've bought it a lot over the years. The tahini is excellent.

Good product for good price

It’s very watery compared to other brands. It literally pours out like thick pancake better. Its taste is great but it makes a watery hummus. I like a more prominent tahini taste in my hummus than most people. This did however make a great miso tahini dressing. Price was fair for a package of 2. Not oily at all.
