Simon & Schuster The Ghost Blade

My daughter absolutely loved the first book in this series so we gave her this as part of her birthday gift. This was the first thing she reached for after opening all her presents. The illustrations are vibrant and fun and the storyline (from the few pages I read with her) seemed to balance the right amount of humor with heart. It introduced her to new words but still seemed easy enough for her to follow along. Highly recommend for kids around 7-8 that also love the silly humor in DogMan and the adventures in Press Start.

Another fun adventure with Barb the Brave. My 8 year old daughter loves these books and I can see why. It's hard not to admire Barb's fearlessness and determination. There are a host of funny characters by her side. We hope there's more Barb in the pipeline.

Exciting book with thrilling and awesome drawings. My kids are into the lore and can’t wait for the next one.
