HILDA Moon Gazing Hare Bronze Hare Statue Sculptures from Paul Jenkins - New Gift Ideas! by Figurines-Gifts UK

I bought this for a good friend for her birthday as she told me she had happy memories of seeing the moon-gazing hare when she was a young girl. It was very well received. I have bought statues from Frith before and they are all good quality and nicely finished.

This order arrived very quickly. The colour isn’t quite what I wanted eg a little bright. I hope it might darken in colour over time.

Saw this on a shop at nearly twice the price - found it on here and just had to buy. Hilda is a beautiful star gazing hare, about right inches high. There's a good weight, and very well boxed. I kept this one but would be happy to buy again as an unusual gift.

Be warned there are two sections describing the size of this sculpture, the first one which says 18cms tall is correct and not the second main description which says 22.4cms. I was a little disappointed as I did expect this to be taller, this is small. But, it is lovely so I have kept it.

A lovely sculpture which captures the very escence of the hare ie; its elegant stature, powerful limbs and stance.... just beautiful, I love it to bits & it was a very well received gift.

I have bought one of these before as a gift. They are rough cast which I think makes them so individual and realistic

There is nothing wrong with Hilda my disappointment lies with the juxtaposition of Hilda and Howard hare on your web page leading me to believe that Hilda was about the same size when in fact she is half the size. I purchased both as presents for the same person, at different times, but because of their size difference they cannot be displayed together. I recognise that I should have checked the dimensions but feel that more care should be taken with the presentation of items.
