I received this replacement remote recently and have had the chance to try it out over the past couple of days. Setup was as straightforward as it gets, I just inserted two AAA batteries and it connected to my TV instantly without any pairing or programming. That alone is a big plus if you just want something that works straight out of the box. I’ve been using it mainly as a replacement for a lost original remote, covering everyday tasks like switching inputs, adjusting volume, and navigating smart TV apps. In terms of performance, the signal response is quick and consistent. There’s no noticeable lag when pressing buttons, and it works reliably from different angles across the room. The layout closely mirrors a typical smart TV remote, so it feels familiar to use and didn’t take any time to get used to. Build quality is decent for a replacement unit. It’s lightweight but not flimsy, and the buttons have a soft press with a clear tactile response. The casing feels solid enough for daily use, though it doesn’t have quite the same premium feel as an original remote. Wow ! I was so impressed when it arrived. Its sturdy, works perfect...and the price is amazing. Strongly recommend.

Needed a new remote after dropping the original Samsung remote, works perfectly, easily connects to the existing tv, the body of the unit feels the same as the original, just as well built, all buttons work perfectly, great value for money, only small downside is the buttons feel a bit more ‘clicky’ and clunky than the original, small issue but not a big enough one to stop me buying again.

This is a great remote. Feels more then I paid. Quick use, started with the television first time. Will buy again when the kids ruin the next one

I will rate this item zero star it’s completely useless you can’t open the battery panel I asked for refund which I haven’t got it

While the remote does work, it consistently disconnects from the tv on startup, for roughly 5 seconds. That being said, it works, it’s cheap, feels okay, and it’s lasted me a long time, so three stars.

Following an entirely avoidable accident involving the old remote and a mug of coffee I had urgent need of a replacement remote. Looking around some were going for silly prices, when I saw this item listed. I ordered it, it arrived the following afternoon, fresh set of batteries, and…it’s perfect. It’s crisp, brand new, works perfectly, as far as I can tell the only difference is that it doesn’t have Samsung printed across the bottom. For me that’s not a deal breaker. What matters is all the buttons do what they’re meant to do. So, if you lose it, the dog buries it, someone helpfully treads on it, or aliens abduct it, don’t worry, this one has your back! There is no setup other than inserting the batteries.
