Excellent product
I picked up the Amazon Basics 128 GB Ultra Fast USB 3.1 drive because I needed something reliable for backing up photos and transferring larger files between my home and work computers. The price seemed reasonable, and I’ve had decent luck with Amazon Basics in the past, so I figured it was worth a try. After a few weeks of use, I don’t really have any complaints. The drive is small enough to toss in a bag or pocket, but not so tiny that it feels like I’ll lose it instantly. It recognized quickly on both my Windows desktop and my older linux system, and transferring files is fast; definitely noticeably faster than the older USB 2.0 drives I’ve used. I’ve been able to move big video files and large batches of photos without much waiting around. No problems with corrupted files so far.The casing is plastic, but it feels sturdy enough for normal daily use. I’m not rough with my stuff, so that’s fine by me. There’s no fancy branding or gimmicks;just a simple, functional flash drive that does what I need it to do. If you’re looking for something basic that gets the job done without costing too much, I think this is a solid choice.

Fast, Reliable, and Plenty of Storage
This 128 GB USB 3.1 flash drive has been a solid performer from day one. The transfer speeds are impressive. Large video files and photo batches copy in a fraction of the time compared to my older USB 2.0 drives. It works perfectly on both my laptop and desktop without any driver installs, and the plug and play connection has been reliable every time. The build feels sturdy without being bulky, and the compact size makes it easy to carry on a keychain or in a small pocket of my bag. I also appreciate that it doesn’t heat up excessively during long transfers. For storing documents, photos, and even full HD videos, 128 GB is plenty of space, and it’s nice knowing I can quickly back up important files. I haven’t had any data errors or corruption so far.Pros:• Very fast read/write speeds• Generous 128 GB capacity• Compact and sturdy design• Works instantly on multiple devicesCons:• Small size makes it easy to misplace if not attached to something

Reliable Storage with Adequate Speed
I’ve been using this 256GB Amazon USB drive for a few weeks now, and it’s been a solid choice for everyday storage needs. The capacity is fantastic—it easily holds all my photos, documents, and even a few large video files without breaking a sweat. The build quality feels durable, and the compact design makes it easy to slip into a pocket or bag.Where it falls just short of 5 stars is speed. While it works reliably for transferring files, I noticed it’s a bit slower compared to other brands I’ve used, especially when moving large batches of data. For routine tasks like backing up spreadsheets or loading presentations, it’s perfectly fine. But if you’re regularly transferring huge files (like 4K videos), the speed difference becomes noticeable.Overall, if you prioritize affordability, storage space, and reliability over lightning-fast speeds, this USB drive is a great pick. It does exactly what it promises, just with a little patience required now and then.

Finally a decent flash drive
Picked this flash drive up mainly for transferring large files, and it gets the job done. Speeds are solid, I’m seeing around 120MB/s reads and about 30MB/s writes, which is close to what was advertised. Big step up from the older USB 2.0 stuff I had lying around.256GB gives you plenty of space. I loaded it up with videos and backups and still had room left. Just a heads-up: the actual usable space shows around 232GB, which is normal for these things. It came formatted as FAT32, so I switched it to exFAT since I move large files often.Build quality’s decent. Retractable design is convenient, though it doesn’t have an LED indicator, so you don’t really know when it’s active, but not a dealbreaker. No issues with file corruption or disconnects so far.If you need a reliable and fast drive without spending a ton, this one’s a solid pick.
