The LEDs light up as described, according to moisture content of the brake fluid.Wish it was for all -- DOT3, 4, & 5.1 categories.Battery compartment lid is somewhat flimsy.

Non working defective unit has been sent.
I have been sent a defective item. No matter what I do, only the power on LED illuminates. The unit does not indicate any condition of brake fluid. Worst of all, customer care is unavailable. And… return does not seem to be available. AMAZON, why are you allowing such vendors on your platform ?

It's a value for money product and very necessary for testing of Break oil condition for presence of water in oil (break), so that break system including ABS is working perfectly.I personally recommended to everyone vehicle owner for it.
