It appears to be well made and working properly. We have started some seeds of Black Seeded Simpson lettuce, Parris Island lettuce, Salad Bowl lettuce, and Kale. The Salad Bowl lettuce didn't grow at all. Probably bad seeds. The Black Seeded Simpson lettuce and the Kale sprouted after 3 days and we were harvesting in less than three weeks. Of the three Parris Island lettuce we started only one sprouted right away and grew quickly. Of the two others, one died and the other is still alive and growing slowly. I was pleased enough with this product to order a second unit. The first picture was taken about ten days after starting and the second after 4 weeks.

What a great growing system. The company is amazing. My first light didn’t set & kept turning off, but I contacted the company and I got a new light in less than a week. Now my babies are going strong. For someone whose always had a black thumb, this system boosts my confidence that I’ll be able to keep plants alive now.

Excellent quality, easy to set up, great value for the price, my seeds sprouted in only 5 days!!! 5 of 5!!

Defective

Easy to assemble just planted a variety of herbs that the wife wanted. Just not sure yet if it’s worth the cost but time will tell. Picture show plant growth and root development at 4 weeks. The enclosed pods worked well to start the seeds and worked better than rockwool or rapid rooter that I use for a much larger homemade unit. I did not use the enclosed fertilizer but used a 3 part organic liquid that I can control the strength since I did not want to start seeds in a full strength fertilizer. What we harvest we will use fresh and dehydrate the rest. Liked the features on this unit just wish that there was a built in fan. So far no issues and unit is silent. Might purchase another unit just to start seeds to transplant in my other towers.

Works great. I use this to start seeds. I then transfer the plants to 5 buckets.I've seen mention of mold on the grow sponges, that is a misunderstanding on the part of the user. The light and moisture promotes algae growth. That is the point of the stickers. The unit is not producing the algae because there is an issue with the unit. The algae growth is a natural occurrence.

I've always wanted to try gardening with water! The set up was super easy and fun! Customer service was so helpful and sent a replacement part super quick. Great job!! I'm starting seeds for my outside garden but will be growing vegetables through the fall and winter months. This is a wonderful setup and plan to use it for many years.

Great product

Looked like a great product for an even better price, so I ordered it. Tracking seemed unusual....and then said it was lost in the mail? Wasn't delivered on Tracking. Then saw an aerogarden 50% off at Canadian tire so I bought that instead. My seeds have sprouted!

So far, so good. I have all my seeds in, and we have growth! The kids have been cutting off lettuce leaves to eat every once in a while, so that's a plus. I have to remember to change the water every week or so as it starts to grow algae on the inside walls.One thing I wish it had was a built-in memory for when we lose electricity. When the power comes back on, I have to press the ON button on the unit to activate the light/pump again to start the 16/8 hour cycle. So now the timing is off. I then have to manually shut it OFF in the evening and then power it ON again in the morning to start the 16-hour "day" cycle. Otherwise, the schedule is all messed up and the light won't shut OFF until sometime during the night. I'm not sure if the unit will automatically turn itself ON eventually when the electricity returns or if it stays OFF until I have to turn it ON manually. I have only had to manually turn it ON after I switched off the power at the breaker to do some home maintenance.Other than that, the unit works as advertised. Yes, I would still recommend this grow system.

If you don't have access to the item from all sides, it's built to create problems. Now when one of these have big plants and they grow fast, requiring adding water every week or even more often, eventually, it stopped working when I was turning the system to reach the hole for water. The system makes sound every time I touch the pole, but no light. I've time, when I tried to pull light down and up, it suddenly started working. But a week later I had to add water, and when I was turning the system, the light disapp again. And I cannot get it back. So looking at just new start of another the same system, I'm disappointed - who could create adding water hole in the back? I don't know how to get the lights back. It looks like a problem with contact, but it's worth plants - not much I can do here!

Great product with amazing look and functionality, but unfortunately in less than à month the water pump stopped and the well growing plants start Rolling down. Could be my luck, but I wish more attention given to the water pumo. Just ordered the smallest water-pump I found to replace the original one
