I also tested out the spill proofness if the cap is closed it’s completely spill proof and when tipped upside down it seems like it will only spill what was inside the straw when tipped. Only con is when it’s tipped sideways while the straw is open it will spill a full puddle on the floor.

I use this for my almost 5 year old and she loves it. The straw is silicone and she likes that. Has a good flow and locks shut. When it's open, though, water can spill out of the straw. Wouldn't recommend for smaller toddlers because they might spill it

We switched over from yeti to this water bottle once I learned that yeti uses lead to insulate. We overall love this water bottle. The only thing is, the lock and unlock switch on the side, broke within one day of us having it. I don’t feel like it’s essential, and I actually think the switch caused more frustration for my toddler when he would try to drink from the bottle and it was locked. We still use the water bottle and it works just fine with the switch broken on the side. It doesn’t spill, it’s easy for him to use, and it keeps liquids cold. It’s easy for him to carry and he loves how it has not one kind of blue color but TWO! 😂

I have the adult Owala and love it. The double sip design of straw or pour is amazing and simple and easy to clean…THIS is NOT that bottle.I bought this “kids size” for my 2-year-old because of it (she loves mine but it’s too big and tall for her own at school) and I now wish I didn’t. After a month of only water and weekly washing, it has MOLD forming in the silicon.I contacted Owala and they replied right away… offering me to buy a replacement lid or clean it with vinegar. Thanks but no thanks. I wanted to trust this brand but this might as well be a $5 Walmart flip top.

Let me tell you, I am a water bottle snob. After seeing and reading about lead in all these stainless water bottles I wanted to make sure my kids have the least toxic ones available and Owala is top-rated! No harsh chemicals, lead-free, mess free, and stays cold for long periods of time!! Also, top quality and so cute. Toddler and parent approved!

Really sad as I bought an adult freesip and loved it then spent more on ordering this from overseas and it’s rubbish! Leaks and is therefore unuseable for a kid. Would love a replacement / refund.

these are my favourite waterbottles ever. I have the large adult one and this is perfect for my kid to take to school. Really easy for them to use, doesnt leak and keeps it cold all day long.

Product was good but had a dent when received. They placed it in a plastic bag and use the amazon pouch which cant give enough cushion or protection leading to a dent when drop.
