Different styles to choose from, some the diameter is bigger so you have to use more hair to get them to stay in. I sleep with them in and take them out when I wash my hair, great for braids if you know how to braid. Did not like the black rubber bands that they came with my hair color is blonde they are really noticeable in my hair, I use the colorless bands instead. I wanted these for the summer time :)

This kit is a nice starter kit for anyone with a beard (probably good for dreads, but since I don't have them, I can't speak to them).If you are looking to put your whole beard into one braid, only some of the pieces will work (my beard is the width of my chin, and about 8"/20 cm in length). Most of them are small, so they can only work on smaller braids. Still, I was able to spell out my name with smaller braids in my beard...very cool for the 4 people in the world who can read runes! (Not so cool for everyone that i bored when I told them so)Still, I recommend this kit. It has tools, bands, and a variety to choose from. I knew little to nothing about braiding hair before I got the kit...but I was up and running within 10 minutes. And at this price, why not?

Good design and variety of option but difficult to use

My husband loves these for his hair and his beard...(and I love how bad boy he looks with them ;》 ) they are really easy to use and come with the tool that makes it so simple. Lots of different sizes and include all the Nordic runes.

I purchased these beard rings for my son as a gift for his birthday. A great assortment.
