Medium Laser Engrave Enclosure

Made the process of engraving much easier. Don't have to worry about smoke getting all over the garage. Its been holding up well.

Worked for me. Cut a piece of Plexiglass the size of my window opening, drilled a 3" hole, attached an adapter and the exhaust hose to vent out the window. Fan is strong enough to vent outside. I use an air assist on my engraver so that helps out with the exhaust. Exhaust hose stretches to about 5'. Easy to assemble, and would break-down easy if needed for storage or transporting.

They did a great job with removing the top support at the flap opening. This is so much easier to use than the other cover due to that bar at the opening not bung there. The material is nice and the zipper works well.

Decent enclosure for the money, easy to assemble. No bottom. I have been using this for a couple of days now and it is a nice enclosure. It keeps the smoke inside and extracts it through the vent like it should. Now for the negatives. I wish there was a flap in the back as my laser has its controls and connectors on the back of the laser frame. More importantly though is that the orange shield does not protect you from the laser light. I can see the blue beam through the orange shield. With my orange laser goggles though I cannot see any of the blue light. Always wear safety goggles regardless of whether your laser is in a enclosure or not. I just assumed that the protective orange shield would protect the wearer from the blue laser light. To be fair though, no where in the description of this enclosure does it say that. Even so, I have remove one star because of this. Other than this I really like the enclosure.

Do not be afraid because of other reviews. I found this item to be sturdy, easy to assemble and a great value. I put it over my D1 Pro and was delighted with the light bar and exhaust fan system. Totally met my needs. The zippered opening is very useful and good size. Buy it, you will love it!

So I REALLY wanted to love it and I sort of still do. Sadly my unit arrived with some defects. I'm not sure if their manufacturing process was having issues that day or QC was asleep at the wheel or what. My unit arrived with multiple holes not punched out for mounting the vent duct adapter and more importantly with a hole in the back panel. The holes are either not punched at all or just partly 'pricked' and incomplete. One hole is still mostly usable, but others are just not open and I would have to punch them myself. And of course I could punch them, but when you buy a product that is supposed to have them already punched, it's an issue. Then there's the hole in the back panel. It's not like a completely punched hole, but it absolutely allows light and definitely lasers to pass through. A cheap handheld laser easily shines through in what appears to the naked eye as full power! This means stray light from the laser inside this unit could easily escape and cause harm to the eye. So that's a major problem in my book. Engraving lasers are dangerous plain and simple. There are a couple of much smaller 'prick' type spots on a side panel, but they do not seem to allow full laser power through, but are also visible when passing a light over those areas. I'm not nearly as concerned with those spots. Now for the stuff that is good or mostly good. The labeling of parts was very nice. Instructions were quite nice. And everything went together without a hitch. The included light fills the inside with a very nice amount of light and is easy to install and use. The hook and loop straps used to mount it are just a so-so solution in my opinion. It's not bad, but it's also not great. I am thinking I'd 3D printing some mounting bracket that will also hold my USB camera at the top for Lightburn use. Overall, if it weren't for the defects it would be easily five stars! It's sad some stuff got missed. The material feels pretty nice and has a rubbery outer feel, but the inside is like a fiberglass fire blanket. I will say I'm not too sure how much to trust the amber PVC window, but I guess it's job is really to reduce the stray beam and not handle direct focused beams anyhow. I'll still be wearing my proper PPE around it with the window closed.

Was looking at enclosures for some time. Saw this one on Amazon and read reviews. Its simple and works great! Easy to assemble, quickly able to attach to my venting system and tall enough for my camera accessary. It is "soft sided", but sturdy enough for the job.

I bought this for my SculpFun 400mm X 400m S30 22w with the SculpFun Cam500 attached and it fit completely. Easy to assemble. The view window is great as it allows you see the entire work area. The included LED light lights up the work area perfect. The exhaust fan included is very quite, only issue found is that the exhaust port should be at the upper part of the enclosure since the smoke rises.

I don’t have any other reference this is my first enclosure, but it’s well constructed and does what it’s supposed to for a very reasonable price. I’ve seen some people mention the window being wrinkled and difficult to see trough, it is not a solid window, it’s a transparent flexible vinyl, but you get to see fairly well inside and you can clear most of the wrinkles with a heat gun if necessary.

Easy to assemble, love the fact that the exhaust port and cable ports are there on both sides. It fits the Atomstack A20, although it's a pretty tight fit. The window/opening is big enough to move most materials through it. Was a bit concerned at first that it's only 5 sides (no floor) and there's always a small space at the bottom from which the smoke/fumes could get out, but actually I'm using an exhaust fan and pretty sure if it was hermetically sealed it wouldn't work since you need new air to replace the one you're pushing out. Overall it's a pretty great product, instructions were clear, everything is as described, and it works very well
