Power tools not required but preferred.
The media could not be loaded. I bought two of these. Can you put it together by hand without a drill? Yes. Should you? No. My hands HURT after putting ONE of these together, after two I needed ice. Lol Top things, 1: It’s not raw cedar like it looks, i thought it was and planned to paint over it. It’ll have to be sanded if you plan on painting it. Its a printed pattern and it’s more of a orangey tone color in person. 2: It’s thick & I don’t think will break easily. 3: It’s easy to assemble as far as its straight forward and not too many screws/parts. BUT if you’re doing it by hand it’s hard to screw in the screws. I recommend just using a power drill and your hands/fingers will thank you. Lol

My Two Year Old Loves It
Was super helpful after my C-section with my second to have a bed low enough to the ground that my oldest could get in and out easily on his own (since I had a weight restriction with how much I could lift). Looks nice, and is good quality

It's okay!
Ascetically pleasing and what we were looking for. However terrible cheap hardware and a pain to assemble with sparse instructions. Not easy to move once installed and the hardware does not stay tight which causes constant tightening.

Really difficult to screw the bolts in but worth it
The holes were not pre drilled for the bolts and screws which made it extremely difficult. On the bright side, every piece of this bed has bolts in it, which makes it very sturdy. Not to mention CUTE!

Great floor bed!
I purchased this for my son when he was 17 months old. He easily transitioned to this bed and it makes his environment accessible to him! It was easy to follow instructions to assemble and the design is so cute!
