This kit is very well-produced and provides an excellent introduction to building electronic circuitry. The PCB is laid out with generous space between components to minimise solder spill-over. The instructions are thorough (and in English!) The drive train can be assembled easily, with colour-coded components.The behaviour of the robot when fired up is a bit erratic - not surprising considering the cost of the kit. Time will tell what kind of lifetime the 4 * AAA batteries have when in use.All in all a great family toy - especially attractive, perhaps, for families with younger children when Mum or Dad can build it and the kids can play with it.

Absolute rubbish, box came damaged and not very well packaged at all. It was dusty and dirty and once I read it I realised I would have to go buy a tonne of stuff including a solder iron for my son to build this. It's crazy given it's a child's toy!I wouldn't recommend at all!!!

A very good set out kit easy to follow plans which worked first time good fun.The wheels could do with a tread to grip surfaces, apart from that its aGreat kitThe transistors were difficult to read but having them in different bags helped.

Got this for my brother for Christmas. he is making it now. it is something which will take a bit of time to do. he was pleased with it.

A really well designed project kit. Includes both electronic and mechanical elements to construct. Easy to follow instructions, and parts designed for assembly. Finished product works well and reliably, something not always true of these type of kits. Complete circuit diagrams included so that the way it works can be understood. Very good.
