GYM MASTER Power Rack Cage and Squat Rack with Pull Up Bar

Received the gym cage faster than promised delivery. No problem putting it together. Managed on my own. You will require the correct spanners to assemble which are not included in the package and one also needs to study the visual instructions to ensure correct assembly. Once erected I was impressed how robust the cage is. Does not require anchoring to the floor. Product very suitable for the amateur weightlifter and at a very good price in comparison to similar cages.

Great Power Rack. Comes in 3 boxes. Mine came 2 boxes one day then the other box a couple of days later. That's ok as the first 2 came earlier than expected. Putting the rack together was quite easy but you'll need your own spanners. The diagram gives the parts numbers, but there isn't numbers on the parts. If you look at the diagram you can easily tell what each part is. So no problem there. Once I built the power rack it was very impressive and very sturdy. I have to say. For the price it's an excellent buy. You won't be disappointed. Great buy and great Seller.

Overall, very solid product for the price, with reasonable options for customisation. If you are taller, make sure you’re aware of the dimensions. I am 183cm with a 189cm wingspan, and cannot fully extend the bar in standing overhead inside the rack. Pros: Sturdy, stable and does the job. Holds plenty of weight. Compact enough for most home gyms. Cons: The two insertable nooks for racking and holding the bar aren’t super comfortable to re-rack on, but not dangerously so. The paint finish on the steel isn’t resilient to the bar rubbing on it and does flake off. The cable attachment spot is annoying and sometimes gets in the way if you’re trying to e.g. hipthrust within the rack.

Definitely worth having one, great quality, easy to install, customer service contacted me 2 times to make sure everything is ok as the package came with 2 different deliveries but had no issues with that. The rack itself is exactly what I needed, tested it from every aspect so far and I'm happy with it. You can also buy separate attachments for it in case you want to store the weights you have, they fit on it perfectly as you can see in my pictures.

I wouldn’t say this is absolutely solid, when unloaded there is a slight bit of wobble, less so when there is weight on it. You have to be careful how much you are tightening the bolts up as the metal beams pinch under the pressure of the tightening bolt, this could possibly be solved by supplying larger washers to spread the load of the tightening bolt. Having said that I’m very happy with the purchase for my home gym. I won’t be getting anywhere near its maximum weight limit so I’m confident it will do the job for me! The only real reason I give it 4 stars is that the bar holders are not padded so makes a hell of a clatter when racking the bar after a set. I’ll be buying a set of padded J-hooks separately.
